Excellent, professional service. The staff is very helpful and always willing to assist you with any needs. They kept me informed of all aspects of my insurance coverage and ensured I was in complete understanding prior to my appointment. The waiting time at the time of the appointment was very little to none. We were called to see Dr. Klufas right at the time of our appointment. Everyone including the Dr. was very polite. Dr. Klufas conducted a very thorough examination and eye glasses fitting. The only reason why I am not giving the five stars is because Dr. Klufas did not walk us through the different examinations he was conducting. He asked many medical history questions and examined carefully but we were not told what was going on. He did ask if we had any questions, and gladly answered the questions. Again, except for my expectation of the Dr. explaining what is being examined and the final result of ones fitting, everything else is top notch. I will definitely recommend him and will return.

Great service and friendly staff. Doctor Klufas takes his time and does not rush you through the examination. Overall I would recommend Diamond K Eyecare. Due note if you have any eye condition or if your eyes are dry; dry eyes is considered an eye condition; the visit is no longer just an annual eye exam it is now going to be billed as a medical examination as well. You vision plan will not cover all of the charges so your medical insurance will be billed too. This is fine unless you have a high deductible medical insurance plan (HSA). With a high deductible medical insurance plan be expecting an additional bill of 60 dollar or so unless you have already met your deductible for the year. The only reason I am not giving a higher rating is because of the unexpected bill. When your eye exam seems just like all your prior annual eye exams you are expecting your annual eye exam to be covered by your vision plan. When you receive a bill for 60 dollars it does catch you off guard.

I made an appointment request for an eye exam and confirmed it with Martie. She was very nice and professional and was patient with all my questions (this being my first eye appointment experience.) When I arrived for my appointment a couple days later, Liz greeted me and was very nice with all the paper work and pre-doctor stuff. The doctor was extremely nice and was able to answer all my questions. He was very professional, yet joked with me as well. Very friendly. I then was handed off to Kathie who is one of the nicest people Ive ever met in my life. We talked about my schooling and job, her grandson and his wanting to be in the same career field as me. She helped me pick out the PERFECT frames for me, which I am crazy loving to the max! Kathie then let me know my glasses should be ready in about 7 business days. All in all, a perfect visit! I will definitely be returning for service as long as they are there:)

Whenever I have a question about my eyes or anything related to their health or well being, I get a thorough and comprehensive answer that I can understand. In more times than not, I am made aware of either a product or a procedure I can do to address my concern or inquiry. Its one thing to receive information, its another to actually understand and be able to apply it! I have referred family members and each has shared with me an exceptional experience not before realized with past eye care providers! Dr. Klufas and his staff absolutely get the highest marks for addressing any concerns and providing appropriate solutions. I know Ive made the right choice for an eye care professional!

If you need an eye exam, seriously go see Dr. Klufas at Diamond K Eyecare next to Schertz pd. He is the best! He took the time to review notes from my last visit, (I have optic neuritis),ask me about how things are going with my neurologist, took a scan of my optic nerves and explained the damage to me better than my neuro ophthalmologist ever did-and all I went in for was a RX adjustment for glasses. He and his staff are very professional and kind and the office is very clean. Ive seen some reviews that are basically complaining about the price of an exam without insurance-to those reviews I say you get exactly what you pay for, so dont skimp on proper treatment.

I use Diamond K Eyecare for one simple reason...... Doc "K" isnt a quack! He knows his business. Are his fees too high? You get what you pay for.... and using a "discount" eye Doc equals disaster. Ive been to other Eye Docs up at the Forum (I35/1604), they dont care!!! I had one use such old technology, they gave me a completely wrong prescription for contacts. The worst service ever and didnt care a bit about my comfort.... just my money. Diamond K Eyecare is a great business. Remember... you get what you pay for and its worth every penny from Diamond K Eyecare.

I highly recommend them! The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. Dr. Klufas was extremely thorough and explained everything in terms I could understand. Im diabetic, and its important to be cautious and know about changes with my eyes. He showed me how clearly i will be able to see with my new prescription. It will be better than Ive seen in years. Their glasses are more reasonable than any other eye doctor Ive ever been to, and can have them ready within a couple days.

I first met Dr. Klufas years ago when he worked for SW Vision in San Marcos. Years after that I became reacquainted with him at Wal-Mart Vision Center in Schertz. Since then, Ive seen no other eye doctor. Now, Im more than willing to drive from San Marcos to Schertz Parkway where he has his new location, to see him. Price is not a factor. Quality of service and rapport is of the highest importance, and Dr. Klufas and his staff deliver every time.

I have been going to Dr. Klufus for several years. He and his staff have always been very professional. Wait time is always right on the appointment time I have or less than 5 minutes. I have used some of the other eye doctors in the Forum years ago and did not get the comprehensive eye exam that I get with Dr. Klufus. I dont get my glasses there because it is through the Walmart optical and they do not have much of a selection.

Absolutely love Dr. Klufas and his staff! Ive finally found my optometrist! Cathy was such a great help in picking out glasses and gave honest feedback what looked good and what did not! I can definitely appreciate that because not many places will, they just push products and she actually took time to go over several options with me and was very patient! Will definitely be returning next year!

Im giving this business a 0 for pricing! Im in need of glasses and have called many eye docs in the area. I was quoted $120/10% discount out of pocket! The doctor at 1604+35 charges $50 while one next to Vision Works in the Forum charges $59.00. I informed them and their reply was "thats nice" - Ill never know how service is because compared to other docs in the area - theyre a rip off.
