After going to Different Bridal Shops in the Dallas area, I wanted to try Bridal Boutique as a last go round. Not expecting the best outcome like the rest. I called on a Friday and the manager I believe said they were pretty booked for Saturday but would call if there was a cancellation or someone didnt confirm there appointment. To my surprise, she called me back around 1 pm and said she had a spot available to squeeze me in. (Amazing Customer Service Point 1 from the Get Go) When I arrived I was greeted by the sweetest Front Desk Staff who offered drinks and were already making me feel right at home and comfortable. Once my sales girl Carol called my name, I was delighted to see how happy and peppy she was and very interested in what I was looking for. Maybe she saw the worry in my eyes when I explained to her the trouble I was having in finding a dress and the one I thought I wanted I was having second thoughts about. We went through the store picked out some dresses and started trying them on. Not to mention I was ALONE on this day, (Mother and MOH were busy..My fault for scheduling only one day ahead but I was desperate). I was extremely uncomfortable trying on these dresses in front of others with their family and friends but Carol was such a sweetheart and had such an amazing personality, She made me forget about the whole outside world and focus on just me and my dress. She paid VERY close attention to what I was liking and disliking about the dresses and she would keep bringing me ones that she thought I would like. EVERY dress she had pulled for me looked absolutely stunning on (COULDNT BELIEVE IT, all the other stores i was liking maybe 2 out of 10 cause ive def got the hips..uhhh lol), This made me scared cause I was thinking I might have an even harder decision on picking one, But Carol reassured me that there still a few more to try on that could knock these stunning dresses out of the water. Sure enough that next one we tried WAS IT!!! It was everything I have ever dreamed of in a Bridal Gown and Exactly what I had my mind set on what I grew up dreaming I would look like in a Wedding Gown. On TOP of all that, IT WAS PART OF THEIR HALF OFF SALE!!! I couldnt believe this gorgeous Pronovias Gown was half off and in SUCH GREAT condition. The other two bridal shops in Dallas I had been to had sample gowns that looked like they were literally drug through the roads, ran over a few times and hung em on the rack. When walking around Bridal Boutique, I noticed not only was my gown in such gorgeous condition, BUT EVERY SINGLE dress that was in that store literally looked Brand New from what I could tell. It really made me wish I would have just went there my first go-round but I know everything happens for a reason and I know that Carol was a big part of that reason. She is exactly what every girl needs when trying on wedding dresses. Shes not only a good Sales Rep but she is so Honest and has the sweetest personality making your dress shopping experience one that you will remember your whole life. I know I was sad leaving the store because I knew I wouldnt be coming back :( I wish I could go someplace like that and have a personal rep like CAROL every time I went out. HA! Im already pleading all my single friends to hurry and get engaged just so I can go back there again. DEF one of the most uplifting and best days of my life. On another Note, the store itself, bathroom, showrooms, and front desk reception, all of it VERY Clean and well-kept and VERY VERY pretty Decor. I will forever think of that Place as my Happy Place. I live in East Texas and dedicated an entire day and a 2+ hour trip to try out this bridal boutique. I scheduled an appointment on a Sunday afternoon at 3pm and was told I would have a 2 hour block to find and try on dresses. Also, I was told they were having an Allure trunk show going on as well. When I arrived they were fairly busy and my consultants previous client had shown up late. This forced the manager, possibly owner, to have to help me. I told her I had made this trip because I was interested in the Allure gowns. She led me to a single rack with maybe 15 dresses from that designer, 7ish of which had green tags that were the "trunk show" dresses. Still, a very limited supply and somewhat disappointing selection considering I had 5 style numbers I was interested in and not one was there on hand. Ultimately, my biggest complaint is that I felt my "consultant" was busy orchestrating everyone else in the boutique and clearly was not giving me the attention that a customer ready to spend over a thousand dollars in their store deserved. She only made ONE pull of dresses composed of very similar styles. After I tried on the first two, I thought I had made it clear to her that wasnt exactly what I was looking for. I did find a gown that I really liked quite a bit and explained to her that was more like what I was looking for, and she never offered to pull more gowns similar to that one. The last straw was the price. The woman initially told me that the price with the 10% discount from the trunk show would be $1,289 (which is about right, I saw a price of $1,429 on the tag). She later comes back with a card that says Allure #4430 $1,379. I asked her about the price change and she said that the dress was $1,589 (if that truly was the price then her second price is still INCORRECT if you do the math with a 10% discount). I went back to the dress to look at the tag and it was gone. At this point I was incredibly frustrated and ready to leave (after only being there for maybe 45 minutes total). Once I got back to my car, I immediately googled "Allure 4430" on my iPhone - it returned no results and did not exist. After going through pages of dresses on the Allure website I found out the style number was 8867. I dont know what was up with this place on this particular day. I dont know if they were intentionally trying to be shady. But I do know that I absolutely would not spend a dime in there and I would not recommend it to anyone else!

IF YOU ONLY READ THIS FIRST LINE REMEMBER YOU CANT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET. As the owner of Bridal Boutique I must tell you that Kelly,(DONT WASTE YOUR TIME) was a former aquaintance of mine and also sits on the board of the Old Town Business Association of which I am also a member.She came in last October and orderes her wedding gown. She was very sweet and so happy that she had found her gown and couldnt thank me enough fo the great customer service.Her gown came in early and we called to let her know it was in. She didnt pick it up for a couple of months,so I called to make sure she had received our phone call letting her know it was in.She finally came in on a Sunday I think,and we were REAL BUSY. She told me that her plans had changed and that she didnt want the dress anymore. I told her that we cannot send the dress back to the manufacturer,and that I couldnt afford to give back money or keep dresses from brides whose weddings were cancelled. I already carry over a million dollars in inventory and would be out of business if I did this. Every bridal store has the same policies.That is why we take a deposit,to insure that at least half of the dress is covered in cases just like this. We orderd her a size 10 because that is what she measured. We also have the bride sign off on her size because we go by a manufacturer size chart. OUR SEAMSTRESS WHO HAS BEEN WITH US FOR 20 YEARS IS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR.WE DO NOT MAKE ANYTHING ON OUR ALTERATIONS SO ORDERING A BIGGER SIZE SO THAT WE CAN MAKE MORE MONEY IS NOT THE TRUTH.I could go on and on. I just want to tell you my side of this story.I am very saddened and shocked that she would use the internet to spew this untrue stoty. PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET.Weddings are a very emotional and stressful time for a lot of people and a lot of times they take out their frustrations on the wrong people.Please stop by our store and see our columns that are filled with Thank You notes from our wonderful customers and also meet our fabulous staff.You will be amazed.
