Just like a previous reviewer, I do not like writing reviews because Im lazy, but I also felt the need to elt people know my experience. Ill make the long story short. It was my 3 year anniversary yesterday ... at 3pm I get a call from a delivery person at the shop saying I have a delivery, so I called him back. He says he doesnt know if he can make it to my business before we close at 4. I told him we are open until 5pm. So he says "hell try to make it" (note that my bf ordered these flowers early in the AM ....he had ordered them the previous day but got the date wrong so he called to correct the delivery date in the AM.). When the delivery guy showed up at 5:05pm at my work...he walks up with bruised flowers and a sad looking popped balloon hanging from the vase. I called the shop on my way home and said I was just disappointed in the quality of the flowers, the time of delivery, and the presentation with the popped balloon. No call back. This morning at 10am, still no call, so I called the shop. Barbara answered and offered to send a new bouquet, great, thank you, that would be wonderful. Flowers didnt arrive until 3pm, albiet they were much prettier. 30 mins later, the delivery guy shows back up at my office wanting to take my old flowers back. No. Id already taken them home last night, theyre not at the office. He insists he needs to verify the condition of the flowers, we once again tell him to leave. He comes back 5 mins later asking for the flowers. My HR rep has to aggressively tell him to leave. We will NEVER order flowers from this place again. How dare you show up to my work and embarrass me, so unprofessional and frankly, it ruined the day (TWICE).

This business doesnt even deserve a one star. Worst floral experience I have ever had. Barbara is a nightmare to work with and has the worst customer service skills I have ever experienced. To begin with, I ordered a $80+ arrangement on Thursday, to be delivered on Friday. Around 3 pm Friday, I had to call the floral shop because the flowers had not yet been delivered. Barbara answers the phone and claims she has not received a ticket from her website and wants my card information to create another order. I politely decline the second order and want my original order I have already purchased and been charged for. She then gives me attitude in return and would like me to describe my order. I describe the purchase straight from her website and tell her that I upgraded the order to the best option available. My fiancee calls and thanks me for the two orders of flowers? I thought it was a apologetic gesture from Barbara for dropping the ball on the first order by delivering a second small arrangement but low and behold I receive a phone call yesterday claiming I owe her money for the second arrangement because it was double delivered or it needed to be returned. I told her I would not be paying for her mistake. The original order that we received was the worst looking arrangement I have ever seen. It was slapped together and I seriously think 10 day old Wal-Mart arrangements looked better. I paid $80+ for terrible service and Barbara wants me to pay more. Avoid this floral shop at all costs.

Terrible Service, this "business" deserves 0 stars. I order and pay for a corsage 1 week before my Senior Prom and they told me to pick it up Saturday, the day of my prom. I get there Sunday and the entire shop is closed, I call the shop and they dont pick up. I leave very disappointed and feel terrible. I go back the following day they are open to figure out what happened and why they cancelled on me. I pull up to the store and the owner is there, an old white lady. I explain to her what happened and she says "oh yea its right here to you want it now, I was here on Saturday until 6." She tells me that sometimes the phones dont work and as she says that the phone rings. I try to reason with her explaining that i dont need the corsage anymore because prom had past. As I am talking, she cuts me off and starts talking on the phone. She comes back and tells me its all my fault that she was there, tells me I am lying. We continue talking and she tries to intimidate me by saying that she makes 1 million dollars a year. I have never meet anyone so unprofessional with such a disgusting sense of business. I tell her I dont want anything and start to leave, however before I leave she says, " ok fine I will throw your corsage in the trash". What a ungrateful old woman, I would think that a woman that age, so close to meeting our God, would want to be in good terms with him by being fair and respectful with her customers.

I ordered flowers for a co-worker yesterday. Because of all of the bad reviews, I called ahead and specifically asked them how long would it be before she got her flowers. They told me that they have some orders ahead of mine, but they should be done in an hour. The owner then said that the actual arrangement would take 10 minutes and they would take 10 minutes to deliver. I made this call at 9:30 MST which is 10:30 am in Dallas. She never rcvd the flowers. And, because they close at 4, I couldnt call them to find out what happened. I called AMEX and had them cancel the purchase right then and there. She didnt get them until the next day - which is today. I dont even leave reviews b/c Im too lazy, but this has me hot. The receipt (that the website tells you to print out for your records) specifically say that the flowers were going to be delievered yesterday. Last, the flowers were much fewer. I paid for the full deluxe version of the arrangment (that ran me almost $100 for everything and they arent even roses!) Well, thanks for the free flowers FLC. Youre not getting a dime for them now.

My experience with this florist met my expectations. I received friendly, courteous, and personal service from Barbara. The floral arrangement was better than pictured. Ordered same-day delivery via Teleflora. Had the option to select a florist of my choice. Chose Flowers of Las Colinas because of they were closest to the delivery location. Called after placing the order and spoke with Barbara. She hadnt received the order yet but promised to keep an eye out for it and call me back if they hadnt received it in the next 15 mins. Spoke with Barbara again a few hours later and she confirmed that the arrangement had be completed and delivery was in progress. When I saw the arrangement I was surprised at how much better it looked the the picture on the Teleflora website. It was clear that the person who completed my order paid great attention to detail and quality. I will definitely use this florist again and recommend them to my friends.

I did some research of flower delivery in Irving and the options were numerous with very affordable pricing. I was about to order online but decided to call the order in; I am glad I did after reading bad reviews mostly dealing with the online delivery process. Id recommend the place and also recommend to keep it old school and just pick up the phone. Obviously, Flowers of Las Colinas needs to work on its online delivery method, but overall they do great work. My girlfriend received the flowers and thought they were beautiful. My best flower selection work yet!
