I worked for Ralston on Uvalde back in 2014. I became a store manager in two months, relocating to Fuqua store. I ran that store by myself. They never would hire me any help. I did everything by myself such as stocking, cleaning, counting, and stocking all shelves when inventory comes in. The manager of that store walked out after stealing her paycheck from the safe. I have never been written up for anything because I ran that business as though it was mine. Anything I got I paid for it and kept my receipts in a bag at the store just in case. Rick never did inventory before I took over the store which I feel should have been done. Well inventory time came around, and Rick sent his wife to the store to help get everything together. Reminder she wasnt even an employee for the company anymore and I was told by Rick to pay her daily from the register and leave the receipt for him and not to let anyone know or put it with my paperwork as I should have. Come to find out she was there to watch me. Well one day I got fed up with her standing behind me watching me and stopping every customer that comes to the register before I can even help them. So I politely told her that I didnt need her watching me and asked her to get from behind me watching my every move. Well she called Rick and told him, not even an hour later Rick came and suspended me for a week. He told me that I had merchandise missing from the store and showed me a paper. Well on that paper I signed the liquor out to George, which is the store Supervisor. I told him George had came into the store to pick up the liquor and showed him where I signed it out and he told me I was lying. He asked me to go and count down my register and clock out. He had his wife to check out the customers and she wasnt even TABC certified at the time to sell liquor. One of my customers asked what was going on in front of Rick and I explained what happened and the man went off saying I was the best manager they had there. Rick curse the man out and said that was his ducking store and he could leave. They had words and Rick made him leave. It was on a Friday and I had to go meet with Rick that next Friday for a meeting with him and George. Well I arrived before time for the meeting and soon as I walked in he said they didnt need me anymore so I got up and left. When I got in my car George was pulling up for the meeting. The only reason he let me go was because of what I said to his wife and he had to make up a lie to fire me. When I filed for unemployment he, lied but unemployment said they didnt understand what was going on because he had nothing bad to say about me. Rick and his wife is the problem of that business. He thinks that is business and he running that company into the ground. I have heard him talk so bad to customers and curse at them. And that is not the way you run a business. My customers use to tell me that store has never been so clean nor smelled so good before I took over the store.

The manager at this location has horrible customer service....shes always too busy trying to sleep with the male customers that she cant assist her team nor customers. She steals liquor from the company and always says shell pay for it the next day. The area supervisor has been warned about this but hasnt done an inventory check not sure if he doesnt care or if he just needs the people since they cant seem to keep a steady crew.....working at this liquor store was the worst experience of my life....getting hit on by old men because the manager (veronica) doesnt carry herself respectfully so the same way they disrespect her is the same way they treat the rest of her crew. This was a very horrible experience!!!!
