Ordered pajamas to p/u at store and nice lady left message for me to go to store. I was thinking it would be quick and painless, but when I got into store, store associate could barely tell me where the pickup section was. I get to back of store and there is two women in front of me---one being helped by two associates behind two cash register, but only one is working. I have to stand up between merchandise for 30 minutes before getting to the register. When the girl gets my order she throws it down on the counter while it was still in the jcp bag and ask me to "look it over". She could have taken it out the bag and gave it to me. Im just having any new purchases delivered to me house. They need chairs to wait at order pickup counter.

J C Penny has great merchandise at great prices. However, trying to contact the store customer service is horrible. The line will ring several times, then an automated message states the operator hasnt picked up and disconnects. I ordered a Cooks 12 piece cookware on November 19, 2015 for store pick up. I was told it would take between 4-7 business days,excluding holidays and weekends. As of December 2, 2015, which is the eight business day, and I cant confirm whether or not the merchandise I purchased is at the Cedar Hill, TX store. I will now attempt to drive to the store since i cant get anyone to assistance from neither the 1-800 number or the Cedar Hill store

i love the JCPenney stores within the neighborhoods. This has always been my place for quick go-to needs, but yesterday the store was a mess. i almost want to go back first thing this morning to see if was cleaned overnight. mounds of clothing EVERYWHERE. 80% of the items were either on a table unfolded or on the floor. Really not sure if this is a "customer" problem, or a staffing problem......it was so bad i wonder if adequate staff would even be able to keep up if the customers are really that out of control. The sad part is, if the store closes, we will be complaining that we have to drive to another neighborhood for the same service! VERY SAD SIGHT

Called the salon from 8 until 12:30, no one answered and it kept going back to the automated receptionist. Not even a way to leave a message. After trying other options, I hit 0 and the woman that answered said that the salon doesnt have someone to answer phones every day. If JC Penneys knows that it doesnt have someone to answer the phone, they should at least consider having a way for you to leave a message. She took a message to give to the salon, but I feel like I have little hope of getting a return phone call. Poor customer service.

First time visiting this location. I was assisted by Ms. Paula Flores a sales associate that provided first class customer service. I was having trouble deciding on what to purchase for my grand daughters special day. I feel Ms. Flores went above and beyond her call of duty in assisting me. She made me feel valued as a customer. Employees such as Ms. Flores should be valued by their managers. Seems as this kind of customer service is getting harder to come by. Kudos to Ms. Flores!

Went today to possibly buy a suit as had gotten an ad and coupon in the mail. There were absolutely no sales people on the floor to help find anything. I couldnt find my size so left. I can get better help at Wal-Mart. It was my first time in a long time back to Penneys, but I dont see any difference in the "new" JC Penny. In NC they actually have sales people on the floor that know the merchandise and can help you find what you need. But not in TX, home of JC Penny. Strange.

This place has horrible organization with online orders. I waited 2 weeks for an order to get to this store, and when I called to ask about it they simply told me I needed to drive there to get a refund. Also, they sometimes do not answer the phone when you call. There were several times when I called (at different hours) and they never answered. Stay away from this store if youre ordering online and having it shipped here. Will not be buying anything from them again.

JC Penney (Cedar Hill) has the poorest customer phone service!!!!! Ive tried calling several times to check on an order. I keep being transferred to the order department, no answer. The one time someone did answer, she put me on hold for 10 mins. I dialed again and got a recording that the operator was unavailable. This happened three times!!!!! No more pick up at store orders!!!!

I tried jcpenney online again & sad to say that I used to love this store & the quality service they give. Whenever I called they kept transferring me & hanging up when I had one simple question if I take my debit card & I get hung up on. Then it took me 10 days to get my order when it said it would be ready by the 24th. Now I have presents for my nephews I cant even give them.

I want to give a BIG!! Thanks to Julliana in the shoe department. She went above and beyond to assist me. In stead of transferring me like the operator did the previous 8 times that I called, she actually stated...let me see if I can help you, and she did. For a moment there, I was starting to think this store had the poorest phone customer service.

Was having trouble finding stuff not on sale (I know sounds stupid) but in order to save 40% you had to spend $40 on regular priced items. I brought this up to a sales associate and she said shed take care of it. She left her Sephora area and checked me out. Wish I remembered her name. Great to see customer service is still alive and kicking.

If youre one of the younger people like me thats trying to shop there, you wont find much that you like. Each time Im there, not once has an associate offered to help me or even say hello. The customer service needs to improve. Theres some decent quality stuff in there, but its just not a place I see that will last long with the times.

It sucks when you get to a store and hours are different from the online hours. JC Penneys need to go ahead and corrector the hours online if they want to go ahead and keep customers coming in the morning because what I see is that online it opens at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. In the afternoon on the stores door

A very nice associate helped me find the only cart that has a place for children in the store. Which was useless cause it didnt have a seatbelt for her. JC Penny you need to invest in new carts for your store some with child seats and some with out. Terrible place

Hate to pickup items. Only one person at counter and 10-12 people waiting to pickup or check out. MOSTLY to check out. RIDICULOUS ....I prefer shipping to home, and use this when my order is over $100.

The intimate apparel dept is a total mess or maybe disaster! Alot of the areas look that way there. People are nice but the place needs help!
