As someone who has actually submitted more than one photo to "people of WalMart" (and yes, more than one was of truly heinous mullets) and drives out of the way to avoid 2 other locations just to come to this one...when I say this location is "not bad for a WalMart", trust. That being said, I usually do my grocery shopping here after I get off work at 11pm. Walmart parking lots are infamous for an array of bad things happening in them, but this one has a well-lit parking lot and I have never felt unsafe walking to or from my car. Though my biggest issue w/this location is they will be out of the most random things on any given day of the week, I actually have never had a problem locating an associate here and more often than not, they are surprisingly engaged and helpful! One guy even went to the truck that had just come in and got my me egg whites!?! The people that come here, even in the middle of the night, are your usual Walmart suspects, but I have never had an issue (except for the gaggle of shady-looking "youths" that tend to congregate right in front of the doors, but just push your cart like you just spent 40mins of your life in a Walmart and they tend to scatter pretty quickly). As far as Walmarts go, the store itself and (shockingly) the bathrooms here are usually clean. This place gets an extra shoutout for my latest venture here though. They literally were out of almost everything I came in for, so I had like 3 different associates trying to help me locate stuff. My usual 30-40min trip turned into almost 90min, so when I went to check out, the self-checkouts were closed. In order to get out as fast as possible, I bagged my own stuff and made a beeline. I was backing up when one of the cashiers came running up to my car, waving at me. I was a little alarmed at first, but rolled down my window and the nice young man handed me the loaf of bread Id forgotten to bag. I really wish I had gotten his name so I could give him a proper kudos. If I had gotten home at almost 1am to find out one of the vital things I had specifically gone there for (and they had been out of on the shelf, but was able to get from the back), I literally might have just lost it. This Wally-Mart gave me a Bread Angel that night, and for that alone, this place gets 4-stars!

HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! They call this store a "Walmart Supercenter". This is the worst Walmart I have ever been in. Very small and not well organized like a normal Walmart and I think the employees working there are all incompetent. My wife and I were looking for a UT shirt for our daughter. We asked a worker in womens wear and the girl acted like she didnt understand either english or even what a shirt was. We found the shirts, on our own, 2 aisles from where we were! Next my wife was looking for some laundry detergent and asked another employee. That girl apparently didnt speak english, my wife had to ask her in Spanish before the girl knew what she wanted! Lastly, we wanted to purchase a bottle of wine. When we go to the checkout the cashier asks for my ID, which is fine as I am making an alcohol purchase. Then she asks if me and my wife are together, of which I respond "Yes". She then asks to see my wifes ID as well. WHAT???? I am the one making the alcohol purchase NOT my wife, neither of us look 21 (or younger). We have a daughter in her mid 20s to give you an idea that we dont look like we are under 21. She tells me some BS about TABC requiring them to ID EVERY persons who is checking out with me in order for them to sell ME a bottle of wine! I have never heard of anything so absurd. I ask her, if my underage child is with me would she have to card them as well. The cashier says "No, we can tell if they are a minor". She then asks if I want to speak with a manager, which I respond "Yes". About 5 mins later another girl comes over, I assume the manager, and tells me the same BS story about TABC requiring them to ID not just the purchaser but everyone you are with before they can sell you alcohol. I said you are not going to see my wifes ID (on principal, she is over 21) and we walked out of the store and left our purchases there (sure glad we didnt pay for anything!). We then went to another Walmart Supercenter and bought the exact same bottle of wine with NO hassle at all. In fact the cashier never even carded me! I guess she was smarter than the employees at the other store and could tell I was obviously over 21!

If there was a no star option I would have chosen that. Both staff members I encountered at this Walmart were rude and intrusive. I will not be shopping here anymore. I had a coupon to use for an item in the store from the red plum insert 9/25. I found the item and went to self check because I needed to get in and out. The coupon had worked previously for several other people at various walmarts without any issues. I scanned the item and had the coupon sitting next to the scanner. Before I could finish and scan the coupon an older woman with glasses walked up and took my coupon and said I could not use it before I had even scanned it. She refused to give the coupon back to me and picked up the item as well. She walked off with both and took them to her manager and the manager who was also rude, would not give me the item nor would she let me scan the coupon to see if it would go through. I had told her the coupon has worked before and she replied rudly that its not her problem if those other stores wanted to loose out on that money. So I will take my money to those other stores and advise people I know not the shop here either.

Unfortunately, this is the closest Walmart near me, was it not for that fact, Id avoid it. Many employees (except for a few that are the saving grace of the store) are rude and ridiculously unfamiliar with where items are located in their own store. They refuse to offer returns unless you bought it in their store specifically, I had a manager refuse to grant me a valid refund (under their own return policy) on speakers because I lost my receipt. She then told me I could exchange them for anything in the store because she wanted to be sure if I did return them Id spend the money there. When I explained I havent shopped around for a different pair of speakers and wanted a gift card to purchase something later, she repeated herself with a rude stare. That is contrary to their own store policy that is literally written on the wall. I took it to the Walmart at Norwood (183 and 35) and they returned the speakers immediately with no questions asked. TL;DR - Smaller Walmart with limited stock that is concerned with its sales numbers over their customers. Rude, unfriendly customer service supervisor.
