Joel is extremely helpful in all aspects of his shop from guiding you in the right direction with fly fishing supplies and gear to just being patient with someone who doesnt have the experience he does. His classes are small, very hands on and more of a one on one, so you learn more. Hes very helpful explaining in detail so you grasp things better. Great place to go for a complete package of your fishing needs.

Tying Terrestrials With Foam Class was very informative. Even though I am a newbie to fly tying (this was my first fly) Joel was extremely patient, took time to explain every step, was not critical, and presented the steps in a logical and systematic approach.
