Clean, first of all. It doesnt look like a parlor. He did my eyeliner about 4 years ago and it still disdnt fade out. I am going back to make it thicker and he said he will do it for $150. And he will do my eyebrow tattoo for $150 - pretty good in my opinion. I do not have to waste my time anymore ( 4 years ) to put the eyeliner and take it off every day - I always liked to have black eyeliner since I have very light green eyes it accentuates the look. Also, he did my Marilyn Monroe beauty mark, and when I wanted it bigger he did it for free. It seems that he stands behind his work. My butterfly tattoo I got about a week ago and it is so girly and fabulous. Little heart on the side of my thumb he recommended to do just an outline without filling it in which looks very classy. I appreciate your advice Rose - it does look much better. I asked him if he will put my tattoos in his book - which is full of cool pictures of tattoos and piercings he did ( some are x-rated :)) ), but he said that my tattoos are not elaborate enough for showcase - NOT!!! I love them. So I want to show them off myself. Oh, and he will do my full back wings and my eyebrows when I get the courage to do that. He gave me a great price. Also he worked with me on my butterfly and I had a lot of ideas so he worked on my redrawing the design for quite some time - I tend to meticulous about drawing that I want to see for the rest of my life. And, not to mention one other tattoo shop in the area who could not make my 1 tattoo small enough made me regret that I didnt go to Rose for it because they said that the letters have to be big to be able to tattoo them, when Rose showed me how small and detailed his tattoos are and how I could have made that tattoo 1/4 of the size they did it. My regrets I decided to try someone else... Never again... He is very polite and does not curse or say inappropriate things which makes a big difference to me. I saw the same time I did my last tattoos a mother came with her son to do his first tattoo which impressed me since I am sure she did a good research to choose this shop. And - one rule I have to mention he has - No Whining... I am an exception lol I am looking forward to making my eyeliner thicker ( even though, of course, it will hurt, but it is sooo worth it ) and doing my eyebrows ( I will not do the straight line on them - it wont look fake. He will do my eyebrows in strands so it looks naturally dark. ) Thanks... Lots of rambling... :)

wish I could give this place multiple bad reviews. went to get my nose pierced here (because I wanted a hoop and it was a tuesday and icon, my first choice, only does hoop piercings on saturdays and I was too impatient) and the dude could not have been more rude. judging the inside of the shop, I figured this must be the normal attitude and it didnt matter to me because I would be in and out in 15 minutes. so after the horrible customer service and the guy mocking all of my questions (I have multiple ear piercings, but none on any other part of my body), he brings me back to the room. my friend went with me and was holding her phone a little too high while she was texting and was yelled at for "recording a video." he tells me to close my eyes and lean back and be still while he marks the spot. after handing me a mirror to look at the spot and deciding it was good he pierces a DIFFERENT spot (close, but not close or precise enough). I get up to follow him to the register and see a few sharpies laying on the counter. I looked a little confused and my friend says "oh yeah, thats what he used to mark the spot. I thought that was normal." HE USED A SHARPIE. after having multiple infections and problems with my piercing, I let it close and am excited to get it done PROPERLY at icon. DO NOT GO HERE!! cant even imagine what the service or CLEANLINESS is for tattoos. disgusting place and Im hoping Im finally done with my nose problems.

Honestly the most uncomfortable tattoo experience Ive ever had. I would urge people who have never gotten inked before, especially, to avoid this place. Im a fan of getting small tats on a whim and this place is close to where I live. When I got inside, there was a girl passed out on the couch and no one seemed to be helping her. The place was a bit crowded and the employees seemed unhappy and short with everyone. Despite my better judgement, I went through with everything because it was such a small tat that I wanted and it was my birthday so I really wanted to get it done that day and didnt feel like driving to another place. I blame myself for sticking it out as I should have left. The guy who did the tattoo didnt say a word to me, altered the design I brought in without asking - I didnt really mind the alterations as it was just to make the circle in the tat more perfect, but I probably wouldnt have had him alter it if hed asked. All he said to me was "our base rate is $50" since my tat was so small. I dont mind base rates usually because tattoos last forever. But he was pretty short with me about it and I could tell that all he cared about was getting that $50 for a tat that would take him less than a minute to do. I still tipped him 20% because I think that tipping is extremely important and that was the only time he looked me in the eye that whole day - and thanked me.

Nashville Ink is by far the best tattoo shop in Nashville! I had such a good experimce there I was welcomed immediately & as soon as I showed the tattoo artist what I wanted which was (George) he right away told me he can absolutely do it exactly as I wanted! I went to a tattoo shop before them right down the street & it was the worst place ever the tattoo artist wouldnt do my tattoo as I wanted it instead he made it how he wanted it because he was to lazy to do the work & I felt like I was gna settle for less esp it being my first tattoo...so I of corse did not do it at that shop...instead I came to Nashville Ink I heard very good things about the shop from some friends & which of course I saw for my self was very true...So I got the tattoo I wanted & George even made it even more creative with his specialties & i was very very comfortable esp it being my first tattoo & I love that he took his time he did not rush or anything! Plus there pricices are very reasonable!...I diffidently suggest this place esp for a first tattoo u wont regret it! & ask for GEORGE! Hes amazing!
