Very curious place. Seems to have quite a bit of Target items, either overstock, last season, slightly damaged... Probably never the same stock each time youll visit. I picked up a small air conditioner for under $80! No damage and it appears the box had never been opened! Not the cleanest place in the world, and if youre even slightly OCD, Id reconsider visiting. The staff were super nice and proactively helpful! A fantastic little surprise for this "customer service" weary shopper! Maybe it isnt really dead after all!? While theres scant organization, pretty difficult with rotating mystery stock. What is pleasantly shocking is not everything is "lower to moderate quality" product like whats typically in Dollar Stores, etc. I found some really lovely bedding (Targets upper labels) fun, small kitchen appliances. Even a double door LG "smart" fridge. Give yourself plenty of time to peruse the selection. Definitely not a quick get-in, get - out shopping situation. Worth at least one curiosity appeasing look! Well be in from time to time just to check things out. Theres always something we never knew we needed! Enjoy!

Overpriced i rarely find deals here. When searching amazon i can usually find the things they have for the same price and often cheaper. Not sure where they get the prices from. For example a pair of headphones out of box wrapped with rubberbands for 3 dollars more than a new pair from amazon with free 2 day shipping. I also see the higher prices items like playstation 4 and xbox one are always just received so they dont apply for discounts but they are charging more than walmart. Maybe people are just stupid and buying these used and damaged products for more than retail? Tvs and monitors are incredibly expensive here. Musical equipment is not kept well and thusly damaged. Guitars laying flat on shelves to warp the necks On occasion they have teas that are worth buying

I used to love love this store I found a lot of discounts. But recently I didnt find good discounts and I ask my self why. Well I went this Friday and I found a good sale all shoes were 5 dollar good deal. But I didnt find any good shoes and I thought maybe I got there too late. When I was about to pay a saw an employee caring a big box of shoes to the cashier, the cashier was so happy because she was buying all of them. I was so disappointed I know she have the right to buy in the place she work buy she wasnt leaving any good shoes for the outside customer. All the employee have the advantage to see first hand the deal. The only thing I ask is leave good stuff for the public.

BEST PLACE FOR DEALS IN NASHVILLE! If you want a great deal on anything from electronics to clothing to houswares to baby stuff, shop Essex Bargain Hunt. The greatest thing about this store (other than the discount system and 30 day money back return policy) is you never know what you will find! They get new inventory 2-3 times a week, and most of it is priced 50-75% below retail, and as I mentioned before, theres a discount system on top of that where you could get up to 90% off of the marked price! I have been happily shopping Essex for 4 years, and theres no way Ill stop! Happy Bargain Hunting!

They took away best program date!!! I actually enjoyed looking for the dates to see the actual discounted price. Now they just mark down the item when it goes on sale after a period of time. They took the most enjoyable part of shopping away. Bring it back Bargain Hunt!!!!!!

Use to be a great place to shop, almost like an auction. Would come back weekly to see if I could snag a deal....now they have changed the pricing structure and its just over priced. Check Amazon you at least get a warranty and new guaranteed products

I havent been able to find anything that stands out when it comes to cost. I was able to get a better deal on a TV at HHGreg as compared to here. There are cheap suit cases here some times but thats about it.
