I would give them 0 stars if I could. I once gave them a $5 deposit for a video game and they never called me back. I went over there a few months later and they wouldnt the give back the money, they didnt have the game and they wouldnt let the deposit go towards another game. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a video game store. I was so upset my mom whispered to me "lets get out of here." They do have a cynical bullying attitude, as someone else posted. I know those guys are in business to make money, but they have a long history of being ridiculous to their customers. I will never go back and I suggest you dont either folks. I would look carefully at the reviews of the other retro video games stores in town or I would buy from amazon since they probably have the best return policy.

I lived in Memphis for nearly 10 years.I went to this store several times and ALWAYS had a horrible experience. The staff is grumpy and acts like any interaction with a customer is asking them to bear the weight of the world on their shoulders. Majority of items are overpriced. If you get something that doesnt work properly then they will use any excuse to refuse fixing the problem whether it means saying you are the problem or just flat out refusing to discuss it at all and saying they will report you for harassment if you call them more than 1 time even after they are the ones that told you to "F off" and then hang up the phone. Its too bad the great selection of items they have is marred by such ridiculous customer service and just plain old attitude of a bully to be honest.

Amazingly impressive. The employees were so helpful and patient. I expected much different after reading the reviews here before going. Obviously the needed changes have been made. Their collection of gaming gear is completely unrivaled in the tri-state area. Any collectors or anyone passionate about the early years of video game history should give this store an hour of your time...at the very least for the nostalgic experience. I also took them several games that were over 7 and 8 years old that had not worked since then due to scratches and other damage. Now every single one of them is operational..one of which I was able to sell for over 100 dollars due to its rarity.

In a word, this place is deplorable. The so called manager there spoke to me on the phone for about 15 minutes regarding a repair. His condescending tone and unwillingness to allow me to speak to an owner goes to show how little he cares about his job. Do not allow places like to survive so long as they employ examples like this "Manager." I am all for supporting small businesses, but they must compensate for their inability to match competitors like Wal-Marts "Unbeatable" prices by providing great customer service. And looking at other reviewers here, I can see that the owner needs to wake up and run his business correctly.

This store is just a make-shift organization that doesnt care for customer service. During one of my visits I purchased a game for 45$, and once I got to my house and put it into my console, it was beyond function. I went back to the store, and they blamed me for the damage, even though I had not touched the disc, only until I had gotten to my console, and even then I ad not dropped it or anything of the sort. They did not offer to repair or take back the game. They only blamed me and would not take it back. Should you go here? No.

I just moved to the area, I travel a lot looking for classic video games and while on the surface they seem to have a large selection, I have never been treated with such hostility as a customer. To put in perspective, I have been to nearly one hundred such stores all over the north and the midwest, the two times I have been to this store it honestly feels like the employees just want to kick me out of the store, rather then even so much as pretend to be friendly and interested in my business. I for one will never be going back.

Every time I go into the store, I get pretty good service. Yes, the guys are sometimes busy and it may take a moment but if youre patient, when they get to you they answer every question. They are really helpful when it comes to giving you care instructions and suggestions. I think that the prices are fair. They always have a wide variety of used and new games for my xbox360. I buy all my games from them unless I find a super deal somewhere else.

These guys had a huge selection. At a single store I bought a fully refurbed original nintendo and Call of duty modern warfare 3. They wouldnt cut me a deal off the price, but it was lower than I expected anyway. I saw them refuse to sell a mature game to an underage kid and ask a guy to leave if he didnt stop cussing in front of kids. Well I for one appreciate stuff like that. I hope they stick around. Support small business!

I went there for a gameboy advanced sp. I think the store is great. If you like classic game device games and consols i would recomend this store. I think the store is great because every time I go there i always get what im coming for. So far this is my favorite game store to go to. Also this is the only store I know tat sells games this old. I love it.

Over priced products compared to other local retro game retailers. The staff is not very knowledgeable nor are they very helpful when it comes to trying to find products. I would rather drive out of my way to go to Jackson and visit a retro store then drive over to this location ever again.

Awesome place for old school games. Atari 2600 and 5200 games. Plenty of NES and Sega games. Some have the box, most NES games did not. Also, all the accessories to go with the consoles where there as well. Had plenty of current generation stuff as well and the systems in-between.
