My wife and I shop on Amazon a lot, and fairly often need to do a return. We used to go to our local Staples, and they did a great job. Even if I just brought something in unpackaged, they would happily package it up, attach the printed label, and off it went. Well, unfortunately our Staples closed, and a few days ago I had to go to the UPS Store (4636 Lebanon Pike, Hermitage, TN 37076). This was an entirely different experience. When you enter, there are signs everywhere that say you have to pay $1.00 if you didnt bring packing tape. So I had everything boxed up, but it did need one swipe of tape across the top. An older man who worked there said, "Do you have tape?" I said, "No. Staples always used to tape it for us." He said, "No, they charged for it too. They had signs up." I said, "Well, they never charged me." He rather obnoxiously said, "Well, lucky you." You get the idea from the moment you walk in that they dont like doing returns. I let Amazon know about this too, because maybe having this store do their returns isnt a great fit. As an online store, Amazon relies on customers being able to feel that their return process will be simple and easy. Personally, I dont intend to set foot in this store again, so I feel a little less able to easily return packages to Amazon now. If I had a business like this one, I would encourage my employees to say, "Oh, you didnt realize that was our policy? Well, this ones free, but just be aware of that in the future." Or better yet, I probably wouldnt charge customers for a piece of tape at all.

My mother moved into a retirement home close to this UPS store three years ago and so I have used this store to ship many personal items to my relatives as my mom has "down-sized." This has included shipping everything from simple birthday gifts and books to framed pictures and irreplaceable family treasures. The staff at this location have always been unfailingly helpful and very open to discussing different shipping options to help me save money while still having a secure service. The owner of the store actually came to my moms apartment to give us estimates on shipping furniture and books to my relatives, and then showed a great deal of care in both picking up the items and seeing that they were securely packed for shipment. So I can recommend them without reservation. I realize there are negative reviews on this site, but in the three years Ive been using this outlet, they have never been anything less that polite and helpful to my mother and me!

I was visiting Nashville on business and needed to ship some things back home. I chose this store based on it location to my hotel. I use the UPS store near my work so I really enjoy the convenience but these guys were nothing but short and rude. They never let me finish my sentence before cutting me off to let me know how I could help my self instead of them helping me. I thought it was about service but not with this store. They never sent me an email with my tracing info like my store back home so I called to ask them if they would and got more attitude. In the end they would not send me an email and told me I needed to find my receipt with my tracking info on it. The email is so handy as I only need to click on the link. I would find another store if possible.

These folks are absolutely the best. I never have to worry about my print jobs being done on time and professionally. Emily deserves big kudos for always staying on top of things for me and even rushing orders when I have procrastinated :-/ and need stuff quickly. Mike and the rest of the staff are super considerate and all of them always make sure I know about specials and get the best bang for my buck. I bring all my print work to them and refer them often. I even had them make a beautiful photo collage for my (late) Moms 80th birthday. They took such care to make it look great. Now that shes gone, I will treasure it forever thanks to the time they took to make it look just right. Cant say enough positive things about them!!!!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I re-directed a high anticipated, expensive package to the UPS store. 2 days after it was to be delivered the package is still not there. I called the UPS 800 number and was told it was delivered to the store. Then I was told that they refused the package. I spoke to the owner of the UPS store in Hermitage. He told me to call Apple that it was not his problem since he did not ship the item. UPS 800 number says that it is at their store. I would hope that someone that OWNS a UPS store would be a bit more accommodating. I will definitely not use UPS for my personal business shipping needs and will think twice before ordering from a company that uses UPS.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I went in because I had to return a few things to 3 different Amazon sellers. I was totally clueless. One of the owners helped me all the way through it. She kept all my paperwork and receipts completely organized with each seller along with tracking numbers and found me the cheapest delivery options. I didnt have to lift a finger! It was great! Ill definitely use this store again!

They dont tell you there is an up charge for postage for the post office. Then when they are doing each package they dont tell you what it will be. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS ONE. THEY WERE NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. IM SO MAD I FEEL STOLEN FROM I HAVE A SMALL BUSINESSES AND TO PAY ALMOST DOUBLE WHAT I WOULD AT THE POST OFFICE IS WRONG.

I met both store owners and found them to be very professional and knowledgeable people. They know their business and they know how to service the customer. I see where some customers had complaints, but I have had nothing but good experiences with this store.

I have had a mailbox there for years. The staff are always courteous and quick. I have never had an issue with them. For a short period of time the post office (not UPS) was returning mail and after contacting postmaster that seems to have stopped

Atrocious customer service and rude employees. I had two very expensive items delivered to my business mail boxes and the aforementioned rude, worthless employees had them returned to sender because the addressees name wasnt an exact match.

Folks are friendly and service was good. My order was ready and accurate. I didnt know it would cost $3.30 for two black and white copies but the service was good and order was correct.

Will charge you extra to tape the tiny top of amazon returns boxes. Do NOT recommend. 2 employees are near terrible. 1 is amazing. Havent seen the others. Good luck with who you get.

They are never nice! Went in today and they charged me 60 cents for a 42 cent stamp. From now on I will drive 10 miles to get what I need. Ripping people off..
