I went in yesterday to buy some fabric. I will not be purchasing sewing materials at Hobby Lobby again. The lady at the sewing desk was relatively nice, but the selection wasnt as vast as I had hoped. Furthermore, these people wouldnt price match. Ive worked in retail and Ive given small discounts to keep customers happy and get return business (which Hobby Lobby would have gotten). And mind you, I sew a LOT. The head cashier, Marcia/Marsha, did not even look at me when she came over to abruptly deny a price match. I did not get eye contact one single time or an, "Im so sorry, but weve been told we cant do this." Instead, she gave the cashier (who WAS friendly) a little lecture on giving people who brought in a digital coupon a discount. Because I dont have a smart phone, I guess they werent willing to give me that little extra ten percent off. If you have the choice, go to Hancock Fabrics. I could have gotten three times the amount of product for the same amount of money plus major discounts. Hancock will treat you right and theyll GIVE you coupons if you dont have one on you. They know how to keep customers happy.

My only major complaint about this store is that finding a specific item can be very difficult. Since it is basically the only hobby shop in the area, you would want to come here to complete specific tasks but I often find myself wandering around for quite some time before finding the item or finding that it is not stocked. Asking staff usually results in a general location of the item but the organizational system is vague and can result in getting different answers from different people. That aside, it is the best place in the area to purchase hobby supplies. The daily discount code makes it easy to control your purchases and the wide assortment of materials gives you most of the options that you would ever need. There are excellent classes given for painting, sculpting, scrapbooking, etc. The staff, in my experience, have been friendly and usually helpful. The seasonal selections are large and detailed. The store offers framing services as well and the results are indeed professional quality. I would recommend this store to people seeking craft supplies and advice.

This Hobby Lobby is rather disappointing. Their stock is not great, in fact I once waited over a month for them to restock a certain yarn (the Hobby Lobby brand, mind you). Only a handful of the employees there are kind. The rest of them dont smile and seem like you are inconveniencing them. I like Hobby Lobby in general and I like their products, I just think this one could step it up a bit.

Cindy, Ben and Valerie in the frame shop all get an A++++....I do much framing and they are patient, professional and go the extra mile to help me even though I know they are super busy. They treat you as if you are top priority... I cannot rave enough of how I appreciate them!!!! I would not go any where else because if them! PS I hope they get raises. :)

I went in the store to catch the sales for wedding items. Although I wasnt able to find some of the things I needed, I am able to order them from the stores website. While browsing the store, I found craft supplies to make my own wedding invitations. The total price actually came out cheaper than buying clearance items. Im one happy "Bride to Be"!

Who wouldnt love Hobby Lobby! When you walk in, instantly your inner Artist comes ALIVE!! Some items are a little high, BUT everything excellent quality and craftsmanship. Guaranteed to not walk out empty handed...as You will find something that strikes your fancy!

Love this store, could go broke. Wish they had more classes or displays for different ideas. I am not very good at putting my ideas together but if I see something that is close I can figure out how to do it and what I would need. But overall it is a great store.

The only place in town to get fabrics and craft supplies. The one downfall is there are long lines at the register. Theres one or occasionally two registers open but lots of employees near the registers stocking facing and talking to each other, not customers.

Hobby Lobby is the perfect place to find everything that you need, from sewing to crafts to anh hobby that you may have. Also for any project that you may want to start. There should be a store in Dickson, TN. OJ in Primm Springs, TN.

I go there twice a year for odds and ends and Ive left both times this year without what I needed. Nobody ever assists you and staff I do track down dont know the answers or how to find out. They often dont have what I need.
