I brought my car in for a simple oil change. 30 minutes in the mechanic came out and told me he had tried to remove the oil cap and it was on tight and he broke it. Then told me that he would get a new part about 35-45 minutes. Already frustrated, I waited as I had no choice due to not being able to drive vehicle out without the part they broke. An hour and 15 mins later my Car was done. The 2 Owners came out to show me the broken part. They tried to tell me this item was on too tight by the last place that gave me an oil change. They also said it would have been broken had I brought it to any other place. Im now with the Cashier who rings up the new part. I question why I am to pay for a part that they broke! The 2 Owners come back out to explain how they are giving me a break by only charging me for the cost of the part and not charging me labor. Why would I be charged labor once again for something they broke. $34 was the price of the item and I honestly feel the correct thing to do was to only charge me the oil change which was what I agreed to pay originally. I find it upsetting that a company could behave this way to a first time visitor. First impression is everything. I will NEVER return and Ill make sure to inform everyone I come across to do the same. I hope your $34 was worth it.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced! Their new employee Eric Richards is by far the most disrespectful human being Ive encountered in a very long time. If you want a vehicle that has continuous issues that are guaranteed to you are working fine this is a place for you. Be prepared to spend more money repairing your vehicle than you do on your actual payment. Not to mention if you have to deal with Eric...be prepared to be disrespected and talked down to. This lot will do anything and everything to take advantage of you. The owners seem like theyre very nice, however, its very sad the type of people they choose to hire to represent their car lot such as Eric and their former employee Chris.

For a small lot, the salesman really didnt know anything about the car without having to go pull paperwork (which we waited outside in the heat for him expecting him to come back). Finally we went inside and he had me start filling out paperwork. Online ads say $499 down which is why I went to this place and the lowest he could get me, even with me good credit) was 10% down and thats not $499. Car I was interested in (white Hyundai Elantra 2013) had bald tires and the passenger side door had pry marks from who knows what. Also salesman swore car had never been wrecked but new paint overspray and the crooked hood say otherwise. Whole place just seemed off, would not recommend.

Ladies up front are very nice! However, the guys are sooo rude and horrible!! I went for an oil change with my baby. While I was waiting they started doing construction inside right in front of me!! While my baby was sleeping!! It was crazy loud so I stepped outside and they told me to go back inside because they were going to do construction outside too! THE LEVEL OF RUDENESS WAS RIDICULOUS!! Will never go back and will never recommended anyone there!!!

Absolutist a wonderful company. Ive been coming to firehouse brothers (formally known as university motors) for a long time. They are always honest, fast and efficient. Firehouse brothers will treat you like family and work with whatever situation comes your way. They always have variety of cars available (depending on availability) and excellent mechanical services. Stop on by sometime and see for yourself!

Most of these reviews are fake.Bought a car from here 2weeks later, the brakes locked up on me. They told me they couldnt do anything for me and the car is as is. they sold me that car and it wasnt serviced.
