If I could, Id give it a minus 5, no minus 10! Went to the North Smithfield Walmart today. While checking out my family and I were cashed out by the rudest person ever. We think his name was Don and he was the department manager. This man clearly does not like his job. We were not greeted, he slammed our balled up items into the bags, huffed and puffed the whole time. Not sure if it was a health related issues due to his size or if he really hated cashing us out. He kept mumbling things under his breath which we couldnt understand. After all that it was time to cash out. Now I just got a new card and didnt realize it had the "chip" so I kept swiping it. He said in a really degrading and insulting way as if speaking to a child. "You. Have. To. Put. The. Chip. In. The. Chip. Reader." It took every single ounce of resilance I had in my body not to react physically. Instead I used some choice words ended my transaction and walked away. Now it should have ended there but Mr Walmart "employee of the yr" decides hes going to continue to talk about me and my chip problem to the next customer in line. "Jeez, some people are so stupid!" Loud enough for me to hear him but then acted like he didnt say anything when I turned around and confronted him yet again! Again some choice words came out of my mouth but how else would one react when treated in such a belittling manner by what appeared to be a manager of Wal-Mart. Sorry if he doesnt like his job, having a bad day, or whatever his issue was. You dont speak like that to the customers who are signing your paycheck buddy!

This store is the worst. I have to go here for certain things but usually they arent stocked. I come during times in the middle of the day when they should have items but dont. I always see like twenty workers milling around but nothing seems to be stocked. I found open razor blades in the sharpie section and informed a cashier who was just like ,"oh". Like a kid couldnt walk by and just die? Not to mention their bathrooms? Absolutely horrible, no locks on half the doors, disgusting floors and messy sinks, goes for both bathrooms front and back male and female. They never have covergirl makeup items in stock and are just generally messy and gross. I know the managers are super friendly and they have meetings all the time but it doesnt seem to be helping at all. If I didnt have to go here for their prices and the variety I really wouldnt.

This is the friendliest Walmart in the state. Now be prepared, if you go during the first of the month they will be out of things you want. If you go about 7 or 8 at night they will be in the middle of re-stocking the entire store. So, yeah it can be difficult to find all your grocery items. I am the type that will buy multiple items when they have them so hopefully if they are out of something next time it wont be a problem. Also this is basically the only grocery store in the area besides Stop & Shop where you pay 3x as much for the same item. Great prices when youre on a tight budget.

this Walmart is like the rest..... bad attitudes from customers and employees/employers alike.... if you like the "low" prices you better hope Stop n shop doesnt close..... then the prices will shoot up..... and I can get what I eat cheaper at stop n shop (better quality as well)..... every where that has invited Walmart to open supercenter has watched Walmart force other companies out of business with their "low prices".... the Walton family are greedy and couldnt care less about the community or their employees....

Went to hardware they were OK.... Didnt have what I wanted though.... Thought I would stop and get a sandwich from the deli.... First she had me wait and she didnt have any customers.... When I told here I would like a sandwich she sent me to deli case that didnt have what I wanted... Came back and a different woman told me first woman was the one who makes sandwiches.... She told her and she says she sent me to the case.... I guess she didnt want to make me a sandwich.... Very poor customer service!

Walmart stinks.. the later you go, the busier it is, especially near the beginning of the month. The employees are rude. The lines are enormous. They never have enough registers open. However, they just did self checkout registers which I try and use when its busy, but people with full shopping carts shouldnt be allowed to use them. You can never find an employee to help you when you need it. I keep telling myself not to go there anymore, but its so convenient. Id rather a target instead.

hard to find anything ..... you have to walk from one end to another to find products that should be at the same area .... if you are looking to by something you have to walk around and find it... same products are scattered throughout the store ... a real pain it the a..... to find something in a hurry ... items that are on the display for sale may not be available ... ran into that one few times ... lol .... poor management i guess ...

This Wal-Mart location is ok. I think they are very clean and organized. You can always find what you need. Now, I dont like that the employees are always in a bad mood. You ask them a question about a product or where can you find a product and they act like you just told them you wrecked their car and didnt fill up the tank. But other than their bad attitude I like shopping there for things that I need.

Horrible. Just horrible. Bought a pair of sneakers to have to return them before I even got to my car because they were broken and of course it was the last of that size. Great wasted trip. I havent been to walmart in months because of bad service, figured Id give it a try but was right in the end. Walmart is a bad place to shop. You should give the option of zero stars becauae it deserves none. Not one

The great thing is that things are affordable. However trying to get help in the electronics department is almost impossible. Even upon several complaints to the management. Purchasing some of the clothes there means that I have to do some of my own sewing at the seams are not done very well on their faded glory brand. I am now looking for small businesses to utilize instead of this big corporation.

Drove from about 45 minutes away to the store because it says that its 24 hours online. Got there about 5 of midnight. Only to find out that they close at midnight. The staff was extremely friendly and said they havent been 24 hours for at least 2 years. Someone might want to change the hours listed on here. So someone else doesnt end up making the trip here for nothing just like I did.

I called this store to check on something, the first person I talked to was very nice, but couldnt help me. She put me on hold and got her manager. HE was a stone cold a**hole. I drove into MA to get what I needed instead. I refuse to pay the wages of someone who would be so rude to a customer. Id advise finding another store, this one isnt worth the pavement its placed on.
