This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered at a store like this. I stopped in before work to grab a few items: a can of soup and iced tea for lunch, and a new flash drive, as mine has a crack in it and I wanted to transfer files before it breaks completely. So there is nobody within the entire electronics department to help get a flash drive off the security hook, so I just ripped it off myself after 5 mins of searching for a worker. FInally rip it off and head up to the main checkout aisles to pay for my items - by this time Ive got about 5 mins left (work across the street), I get up there, and there is ONE checkou aisle open, with about 4 or 5 people with significantly filled carts in line, and not one other employee in sight. Next time Ill just stick with Boyers & Rite Aid for my needs, thanks for nothing.

Why cant I ever find a person when I need them? And why is there 24 registers but only ever seems to have 1or 2 n open. And someone needs to teach some of the attendants what thier particular area offers so that they might be able to actually assist me when I have a question instead of giving me a blank stare and strolling up and down the aisles pretending to help me locate what I need.

Typical Walmart, only thing bad about this one is that if you think you are going to avoid waiting in line & dealing with lots of other shoppers by going late at night! Not at this one! Seems that half of its shoppers all have that idea & the lack of open registers, or none most of the time, the lines for the self checkout can have horribly long wait times!

When you need a Walmart, you need the Hometown Walmart. Somehow, they have figured out how to have enough cashiers so that you are not on line for weeks. And, they can actually make change, something that requires a Manager at other Walmarts. Store is clean and well-stocked. It is much more like a Target!

Has most of what I need, but some staff could be more helpful. Photograph department falls way short on customer service, not recognized as a guest upon entering store and only half the time recognized when departing from store. Only "ok" shopping here at this location.

I found the the shelves were sadly understocked....meat department had very little selection of anything. This is not the first time that Ive come here and found the same situation. I would rather drive to lehighton to Walmart and know that I can find what Im looking for.

Cheap with biggest selection in the area. But dont expect much from the staff, often long lines and departments empty - you have to wander around looking for someone to page someone else to the department you need assistance in and then you have a long wait....

Three stars for Walmart. SIX stars for Walmart Tamaqua staff. One word, OUTSTANDING! A tribute to customer service. If you must shop Walmart, this is the Walmart to shop. Clean, friendly, helpful, good selection. What more do you need?

A very mixed bag. Some days the store is spotless, others its very unkempt. Sometimes the staff is incredibly friendly, depending on the workers at the time, and others they offer attitude. I choose the Lehighton Walmart first if I can.

This location is often dirty, under stocked and staff care little about customer service, leaving long lines and tending to personal conversation before customers. It is worth the drive to Hazleton to avoid it. No help. No care. Bad.

You cant ever find what u need. Spending 20 to 30min at deli department its ridiculous. They so slow no matter how many customers waiting. Workers take their slow a... like our time doesnt mean anything

Go between 01:00 and 08:00 - all other times the place is packed and Ive never seen more than three cashiers working at a time. No rifles sold at this location.
