As a semi-local, the place is always an essential stop for each of my stays here. Ive had sundaes and shakes and everything in between and its all yummy as ever. Its ice cream. What more can I say. Staff is helpful and patient even in the heaviest of busy times. Its definitely easier to enjoy your treat when your server is as nice as the sweets they provide you. This place is popular among folks who live nearby to tourists coming from faraway countries and it adds a bit of life to the Strasburg area. A definite stop it youre nearby! And if youre not into ice cream, its good for a quick snack or candy or corny tourist souvenir as its also a connected to a store in the back.

The ice cream is pretty good, though not as good as others in the area (Maplehofe in nearby Quarryville is better), or with as many flavor choices. The waffle cones are made on site, and are very good. The store is quaint, and theres a fair number of places to sit compared to its diminutive size. Compared to other places, it is quite expensive; however, this is to be expected in a "tourist trap" town like Strasburg. Parking is in the street, so you have to pick quieter periods if you dont like to walk far.

Hands down one of the best ice cream stores to which I and my family have ever been. The servers are fantastic. The decor takes you back to times past. And, of course, the numerous flavors of ice cream and toppings are stupendous. If you are ever in Strasburg, make a point to stop, check out the store (with its various nicknacks and confections -- the peanut butter fudge is amazing), and get a scoop (or more). The prices, the ice cream, and the overall experience, are well worth it.

Id say the place is OK. I mean, I found it to be clean and comfortable overall. It could use some updates like fresh paint and such but really, it was OK. I didnt like the breakfast they offer and the room was rather small, the bathroom was large and modern. Like I said, could use some paint maybe new carpets but I didnt feel it was dirty or unclean. I found it to be quiet. I looked for bedbugs and found the sheets to be CLEAN and fresh. Id say for the price this location is nice.

Great staff and awesome ice cream. Had the cherry vanilla, which was ok, but their specialty flavors are dynamite. Try the salty caramel and brownie flavor if its available. Of course, you must have it on a home made waffle cone, which is the best Ive tried, in my opinion.

Tourist trap!!! Very overpriced and just average. Items you can find at other area shops...just packaged fancy and priced high! The famous ice cream was OK...definitely not worth the $6 we paid for just 2 scoops! It was the biggest let-down of our entire trip to the area.

Old style cream parlor & general store. I think we paid $2.75 for a small dish of ice cream. But a small is plenty big for adults. We had coffee, cherry vanilla, chocolate and one coconut ice creams. All were good. Visit the assorted food section too.

The place has no public restroom. The high-school kid employee told us that the pizzaria across the street had a public bathroom. We crossed the street, only to find out that the pizzaria had a "RESTROOM RESERVED FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY!"

Just happen to drive by the area and noticed a bunch of people having ice cream on a warm afternoon. Couldnt resist temptation to stop by. Had an apple dumpling (local apple pie) topped with ice-cream. Glad I stopped in.

This is a cute touristy place. A throwback to an old ice cream parlor. The ice cream is great but a little pricey. They have featured flavors like candy corn in October. They also have fudge and lunch type foods.

The Strasburg Country Store & Creamery is a historic General Store situated on the borough square and loved by locals and out-of-towners alike for great ice cream, fudge, and old-time candy. Its worth a stop!

Great homeade ice cream here. My only complaint would be that we got some stale homeade waffle cones on our last visit, but that wont deter us. Hopefully, they can come up with a remedy.

The prices are in the higher side. When I went to purchase a larger order for a work party, the woman behind the counter was rude. The ice cream was good, but the service was poor.
