I always pass this coffee shop on my way home from work, and have seen their little sign that says something to the effect of "More bang, less buck!" This intrigued me, so I got a 20 oz. latte with their featured tiramisu syrup. And while it was about the same price as Starbucks (a touch less than $5), it was absolutely delicious. The service was quick and friendly, which was a plus. Overall, its certainly not the cheapest option, but it was a nice treat! Highly recommend.

Theyre coffee is just as good as Starbucks or any other coffee place in the area. Its just a drive through but is perfect if youre on McKnight road and trying to grab a coffee, smoothie, etc. on your way TOWARDS town. I typically brew my own coffee and dont spend a lot of money on pre-made stuff but if Im going to splurge, their prices are comparable to Starbucks and Id rather give my money to small business. Very cute setup as well!

First time customer, fantastic service and worth the wait!!! Im not a coffee drinker but Im a big fan of the chocolate coffee bean. The hubby thought his hazelnut coffee was absolutely delicious and thats saying allot since hes strictly French press when at home. The Carmel cookie that I assume is homemade was the best cookie Ive ever tasted other than those Ive baked myself. Will be returning!-top notch!

I always stop and get a coffee from Island Bean Company every Saturday when I am in the North Hills area / on McKnight Road. The baristas are great and usually remember my order/likings. Ive never waited terribly long, but feel it would be worth any wait! Great coffee, many choices, overall the best coffee stop around. Wish they would put one in Cranberry!!

This is a drive through coffee shop that also offers some food items. They have a very large selection of flavored syrups, many of which are sugar free. Their coffee is excellent, and the flavored syrups are well blended, not overdone, and do not overwhelm the taste of the coffee. I love popping in here on my way to work.

Of all the coffee shops in Pittsburgh, this one has to be the best. Dorie and Paul are the owners and they really put their hearts into the business. Always fast, courteous, reasonably priced and some of the best coffee Ive ever had. If your commute takes you near McKnight Road, stop in and give it a try...

Delicious coffee, tea and baked goods and so much friendlier than your chain coffee stops. Their seasonal drinks are tasty and fun (frozen arnold palmer!), their staff is always friendly and they really love their customers and the community. And you cant beat a drive thru, amiright? :)

A tiny drive thru with a considerable selection of hot and cold espresso drinks and smoothies. The ladies are so friendly and the service is fast. They even have a loyalty card so you can earn dollars off future visits. I love Island Bean!

Best coffee shop in the burgh! The baristas are awesome. Yummy drinks, fast service, and great deals! Make sure to get a frequent buyer card, its definitely worth it.
