Went in to Shoprite of Oxford & Levick to purchase a book of stamps. Arrive at front desk and inform them I will be paying with phone “Google Wallet”. They look at me with blank stare then allow me to tap phone to NFC terminal. My phone says transaction processed. The women says “wait let me check with manager”…what? why? She comes back and says “I’m sorry we can’t accept that as a payment. I ask why? NO answer just manager said so. I ask to speak to manager and he/she will not come out of the back…they simply repeat we can’t accept that as a form of payment. Okay well why do you have a NFC credit card terminal then? Google wallet uses NFC and is supported by Visa pay system…you accept Visa don’t you? The screen says approved doesn’t it? Then why would you not approve my payment? I know why because you truly simple, foolish and brainless and have not been trained correctly. Word to the unwise…Google wallet has been around since 2011!!! Get with the program! As for the manager kudos for not taking the time to talk to a paying customer. Correction I’m not a paying customer because you didn’t accept my payment…that’s okay I won’t be back you moron!

The experience I had here as a employee was the worst thing I have ever had now dont get me wrong the Collins family ShopRite was great its just that the employees that he has working for them they need to know that Barbara Sanchez and Andrew J Assini run lost prevention and those two just be lurking and profiling black n white people for retail thefts just to try and impress Mr. Larry Collins when he doesnt even know who they are so people be careful going into that supermarket because you could be the next person that they grab and try to put you in cuffs.

This store sucks never enough cashiers at best 4 check outs open self check out even worst....the wait period to pay for your items is to long I have been here few times through my yrs in the area an have been in line 10,15,20mins....im done go check out acme which is down the street you may pay a little more but your in and out my time is valuable....I dont have time to stand in shoprites line because they dont want to hire more staff to work there checkout lines see for yourself 4 lines open at any given time makes no sense....

This is not the best ShopRite Ive been to, but it is convenient because it is close to home. I have gone here numerous times and their produce was wilted and old looking and rotten, which leaves with not much to pick from when you are searching for things like grapes, berries and even greens. A lot of the cashiers are rude when you have a big order or you are getting wic. So I only go here if I need something last minute, and dont want to travel.

mostly has everything in stock whenever i go, but customer service is horrible. im in self checkout with 3 items. the line isnt moving so i go to customer service they are doing nothing but standing and talking (3 people). she rings me up and says " if people start coming here im going to close". ??? your getting paid to just stand around or help customers get out fast. Great customer service is so hard to find.

I ordered and payed for black and gold cupcakes for a prom and when I came the day to pick them up they were white and grey! I was so upset because I explained to the bakery that it was ok to use dark icing that we didnt care about the taste it was for decoration.....The person that took our order said that its ok that spray paint will do the same job #NOT!! They looked horrible

Only things Im disappointed with, is that you charge the same amount or more, for some of your ShopRite products, as major brands do. Like your 100% 32 oz. Liquid Egg Whites, and your 46 oz Applesauce...and that is only of what (in your brand) I would have purchased today. I chose a major brand that was cheaper.

I like the ShopRite. However, the card reader where you swipe or insert your card to pay is high and shorter people, or in my case that I use a wheelchair cannot read or see it well, or place the pin without getting help from someoene else. I think they should have them lower & that are accessible to everyone.

It wasnt shop rites fault..it was western union..they sent my money too Colorado..I sent my money to Newwark nj....It took 5 different stores & 4 different operators...for some one the supervisor in western union too see their mistake..very frustrating I sent the money from Philadelphia...to New Jersey

The deli where you get sandwiches from the staff will look at you an wont ask you what you need cause they dont want to make a sandwich for you at all on a Sunday a 414pm like wow I never went to a market an walk out not Even eating g want you really want next time Im taping my experience

Customer Service is Horrible!!!! Called numerous times and was hung up on, even called to talk to the supervisor and was hung up on.. This make me not wanting to shop at this location anymore.. If you dont like your job description you should not work as a customer service representative

This supermarket is always clean, very well sticked with items you want, and always someone to help you with what ever you cant find. The managers are very helpful and the cashiers are willing to help also...I very rarely visit in the early morning, majority of time it is after 1 pm.

Close and convenient. The employees are friendly and accommodating. I asked a random employee that was stocking shelves where an item might be and almost before I was done asking he told me. Thanksgiving shopping was not nearly as bad as it usually is at most markets.

Always busy; prices are good and the shelves and product is always stocked and fresh. The staff is always helpful and does what they can...downside; lines can be brutal in the evening. Parking lot is even worse, park far from the door if you dont want dings.

I called to order a minion and a Frozen birthday cake. And the lady in the bakery department was rude and dismissive. Never answer if they even sell the cakes she just said bye and hung up. Its 1120 on a Thursday so it cant be that busy to be that rude.

This is your typical neighborhood Supermarket that says they have really good deals. Theyre cooked food is not as good as brown thats located on Cheltenham Avenue but they do have the better baked goods selection than any of the other ShopRite

This location is convient and the hours are excellent. The store baked butter rum muffins is a hot item & theres always a half dozen put out daily & you have to order them. If they are high in demand why not have more our for the consumers
