Overall good experience. I got a tattoo awhile back from Gabe. Finished work is good, but there was little consultation before beginning the job. I am happy with the end result, but would have liked a more through conversation before he began, so I could know what to expect and offer any changes I would like to have seen. Price is on the high side based on my past experiences at other shops. Décor is clean, but could be a touch more professional and inviting. Place can be a touch intimidating. I Would recommend, but cant say it is the best place in Pittsburgh.

I had a tattoo done there tonight by "Murf." He drew it up and did an AMAZING job with it. This was a very important memorial tattoo for me and Im certainly impressed with the quality of Murfs work. He was very knowledgeable and informative about the care for my new tattoo and SO helpful. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of this facility...not your average tattoo shop!!! I will definitely recommend Up In Arms and Murf to anyone wanting a tattoo. My son has also had tattoos done by Gabe at Up In Arms and he also does awesome work. Everyone there was GREAT!!!

Im actually pretty disappointed with my tattoo... My rating has more so to do with that than my experience at the shop. Staff was great and the artist was really nice, but once i took the wrap off, washed it, and the swelling went down, i noticed some things that I did not notice before i left the shop. I plan to go back and talk to the artist about what can be done to fix this.

Amazing staff, very clean and professional. I would say this is the best tattoo and piercings in all of Western Pa. I have had countless hours in their chairs and have seen what they are all about. Classy guys whose pricing is very fair considering the amazing work they do. Ink is on you for life make the right choice and go here.

Got my tragus pierced here tonight. It was very clean and very nice inside, and the guy that did my piercing was very friendly and made me feel comfortable despite the fact that I was freaking out. Everything was sterilized and/or new, and they were very professional. Id highly recommend them.

Horrendously unprofessional. Rude tattoo artist played on his phone while we waited over 45 minutes for a previously made appointment. Made to feel as if I was a total inconvenience when I asked questions about what I wanted done. Guy couldnt crack a smile to save his life.

i went to these guys to get a tattoo fixed.the place was super clean and the people were so kind. they told me what needed to be done and ended up having to draw it right on my back. the service there was amazing, and my tattoo looks great now thanks to Will

Great experience. Kris did my tattoo, got me in the next day. Pulled everything out in front of me so I knew it was clean. Friendly staff as well. Good pricing. Kris was very paitent with me when I need to take a break. Will be going back for more work!!!

One of the guys that works here told my friend that her card was declined when it wasnt and he charged her twice. $25 to change her nose stud to a hoop. Ridiculous. She goes here for all her piercings and tattoos and they treat her like that.

Being in the Oilfield I travel alot and I can say this was one of, if not the best, tattoos Ive ever got in any state. Very clean shop and as professional as youll find anywhere. I will definitely be visiting there again soon.

I went there today to get my industrial pierced and it was amazing. Everyone made me feel so comfortable even though I was hysterical. If anyone wants a tattoo or a piercing, I would most definitely tell them to go there.
