I was being cautiously hopeful that this store would be as good as it sounds. It was fantastic! I went in for hiking shoes, and to price some backpacking gear. I was happy with their selection, and with their prices. The best part was the customer service. The outfitters asked how things were going when we entered their department. If we didnt need anything, they let us go about our shopping, if we needed some help, they were ready to do anything they could. Theyre obviously knowledgeable with the equipment. E.G. I told the outfitter in the shoe department what I was looking for, and she gave me several options that would work for me, measured my feet, brought me several different pairs to try, and gave recommendations referencing to staffs experiences. Thanks to her, I found just what I needed. Service was friendly, helpful, and not at all pushy. I am looking forward to my return trip!

Your standard REI. Stuffed with all your outdoor needs (except guns). Knife and fishing selection is below average when compared to Bass pro or gander mountain, but for backpacks, sleeping bags and cooking equipment, REI is king. Staff is always helpful and friendly. In my experience, they dont try to upsell you. They do their best to get you what need for the price you want to pay. Customer service is also great. Ive never had any trouble returning an item. Their store brand is actually quite good. I have never had an issue with REI brand equipment. REI is my go-to for all my outdoor needs.

had a ridiculous experience with sales associates on the floor. This is surprising as I am used to the high level of service I receive at Conshohoken. All I needed was to have a product unlocked and handed to me but salesperson ignored me for over 10 minutes. Tried to buy on my phone but it would not allow same day pick up at the store. Finally flagged down another salesperson who handed me back to the salesperson who had been ignoring me. Even the customer she was with suggested she get my product for me but she continued to ignore me. wtf? I just left...

This was a nice big store that had so much to look at and everything you need for your outdoor advertisers, they had a nice bike shop and large selection of different bikes. Prices were on parts with what you get from other similar retailers. I am usually an online shoppers when it comes to my sports equipment but would go here to buy if there was something that needed filed or sized.

This place is great. I have been purchasing outdoor equipment from REI for the past four years, and I have never received anything of poor quality. All their stuff is top notch - in short if it is junk, they wont sell it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, store is well organized and clean. Be sure to become a member, this perk essentially gives you a 10% dividend on most purchases!

A very big store with a nice selection. I dont like that they pester you about co-op membership. I get that it is cheap and has benefits, but I dont care, please stop pushing it, you lost a customer. I would not go back due to them asking me about joining to co-op and would recommend anyone that goes to avoid the staff.

I came here to buy a bulk order of rock climbing shoes. Staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. They didnt rush us at all and were very understanding of our needs. We were in and out with 10 pairs of shoes in less than an hour which I think is pretty impressive. I would definitely shop here again.

Beautiful new store with tons of options and available products. I agree that some staff members need to brush up on their knowledge a bit when compared to other stores like Conshohocken, but that would only effect people who are buying top of the line technical equipment. I would highly recommend

Less of a cozy feel than Conshohocken, but a larger selection of bulky items like coats and bikes now that they have the room. Enthusiastic, helpful staff, and lots of high quality products backed by REIs one-year any reason return policy. Favorite part: leather seating section for browsing maps.

Awesome new digs for this chain here. Would be five stars if their prices were a bit more reasonable. New store location and decor is worth a visit for seeing it alone. When I look around the nice decor in this location, I see why their mark ups need to be so high.

Place is awesome, Im a big fan of REI and how they give back to help the environment. The store is new with 2 floors of everything outdoors. Products are displayed and not just on shelves. Very friendly knowledgeable staff and great service. Highly recommend.

Fantastic customer service without being too bothersome. Employees really know their stuff and dont look down on people who dont. Tons of variety in brand and price. Dressing rooms are self serve so you can try on as much as you want without feeling weird.

REI provides one of the best retail shopping experiences you will ever have. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff, great products, and the rewards program is a nice perk. Bike repair stand outside the store.

Largest REI Ive ever been in there. Its new and beautiful. The floor level is all gear, upper level is all clothing. Im definitely going back soon.

Very large, two story store, that is laid out nicely and not overcrowded. A great variety of brands in clothing and gear. The staff is really nice!

The newer store is bigger and less crowded that the one in Conshohocken. People are just as nice and helpful. Much larger clothing selection.
