Full disclosure: Im a personal friend of the owner, Tomias Hinchcliff. Tomias cares about his customers and his employees. Genuine caring, and a commitment to helping people enjoy their bikes, is the way Genesis operates. Tomias started with nothing, operating out of a tiny storefront nearly 40 years ago, and built a reputation in the community, one friendly sale at a time. Ive watched Genesis sales people at work, and they are unfailingly well informed and polite. This is a shop where beginners are welcomed and not talked down to, and experts will find the employees well informed.

Larger selection of high priced bikes, plus a larger selection of various parts (seats, adjustments, etc.), minor selection of clothing and other biking goods. Seemingly friendly helpful staff, but in a rather awkward location (often forget theyre there). But as mentioned the prices are rather high, and highly unlikely to lure me in very often to even browse.

Owner does a lot to support the community. Sales staff all hard core riders. Mechanics are second to no one. Everyone there rides, knows their sport and willing shares to make you better. Join them on the Thurs night IceCream ride for kids to grandparents. Short easy ride and free small ice cream at the end for all.

Wide selection of bicycles for road, mountain or somewhere in between! The educational seminars offered are given by knowledgeable and friendly folks who are most willing to spend time answering our sometimes idiotic (mine were anyway!) questions. They also have a lot of weekly rides which you can sign up for.

This is a great bike store with a huge selection of bikes and accessories. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. UNCLE GERRYS TIP: They host different bike rides at all skill levels. The easiest one is the "Ice Cream Ride" which ends with free ice cream at Bank Street Creamery. What a Win Win situation!!!

Staff is very helpful in fitting a bike and helmet for my kids first bike. They also have a trade in program for when the bikes become outgrown which is really convenient. Ill be returning here in the future.
