Gather around weary travelers, for this is a story too emotionally charged to miss. A long time ago underneath a fateful full moon, I ate at Krispy Kreme. Placing an order for one lemon filled doughnut, I waited in baited anticipation. Feverishly I bit into the succulent doughnut. Unfortunately for me it was a Tuesday, and a piece of an ancient sword was inside my lemon filled doughnut. It dug into my mouth like a knife through my fathers heart. It cut my gums so badly that I had to contact a doughnut shaman to heal me. I found out that only one out of 10000000 lemon filled doughnuts have a shard of what they called "The Sword of Kremallah". I then went to go find every piece of the shard I could. Eventually I found out that only Krispy Kreme lemon doughnuts have a pieces of the sword. Weird. After many stressful years of selling my body for certain...favors. I finally combined all of the pieces. They flew into the air and with a fiery fixation the shards fused together. Lo, it was not exactly what was expected. Into my hands fell a metal flyer saying Hope you enjoyed your stay. Come back soon!. Out of all of my travels Ive never been so devastated on a Thursday. The doughnut was pretty good though.

My boyfriend and I went to the Portland store on 82nd and asked for two dozen mixed batch. Once we got home, the first doughnut I bit into which was there Ice Cream filled chocolate doughnut had a HUGE chunk of sharp METAL in it. The metal went underneath my gums and caused it to bleed, and was so painful I couldnt chew on that side of my mouth for almost two days. I immediately contacted Krispy Kremes to report this because the size of the metal shard was easily a choking hazard. After days of not hearing anything finally they called and got me in contact with there insurance provider who ultimately decided it was not negligence on the establishments part. They didnt even offer to refund the money spent on the original two dozen! Be very careful when consuming this product, you never think it could happen to you, your children or your loved ones but it can.... Luckily I didnt swallow it and or choke on this sharp shard of metal. Going to a local doughnut establishment where they take extra precaution on the food you ingest vs. there bottom line, may be a bigger decision then one would think.

Great place for bigger gatherings. The service here is friendly. The management team is amazing in this place. Ive worked here and think this place teaches some of the best customer service out there, honestly. Enjoy your experience in each bite.

Every time we stop when the light is on for "hot n fresh" we are informed none are hot and fresh they just turn on the light to get people to stop. When we told them we ONLY stopped cause the light was on they laughed and said it worked.

This was my 1st time ever going inside (Ive been thru a few of their drive thrus tho).... The selection wasnt as big as I thought it would be, but even with only about 10-15 kinds to choose from my tastebuuds were definately 100% rocked?

Not a bad place for donuts. But a little spendy for my taste and I do enjoy their coffee when I do go there sometimes. Best time to go is when they got the donuts being freshly baked or made or fried.

The doughnuts make you wanna become a diabetic. The problem is, once, long ago you got a free doughnut when the hot sign was on. Now, that is a a distant memory. Went back once since they stopped.
