Bought a 16oz hammer here for $8. Went home, used the hammer for an hour, and the handle broke off at the base of the head while I was pulling a nail. I brought it back that same day, explaining that it broke while I was pulling a nail. I was told "you cant expect an $8 hammer to pull nails" and that they would not refund my money. I explained, you know, that its a claw hammer, and I was using it for its intended purpose. And that I would take a replacement of the same hammer if they werent willing to refund my money. They told me that they would give me nothing, and that I should buy a real hammer. So I asked why they sell $8 hammers that arent real hammers. And was told "for people like you." I guess I see their point. But they really treated me like dirt, and Ive been a pretty consistent customer. I wont be returning.

The staff here can be really rude and kinda act like they know all and you know nothing. Big turn off but they do have a good selection and prices are okay. Good for contractors or large projects but I prefer Ace for routine stuff.

Rude and unhelpful service, been in twice before never going back. Felt like I wasnt in the right "club" to shop there. I have met less snooty people in art galleries. I TRY to shop local but they make it REALLY hard.
