Every time I have gone here is followed by a thought of "why didnt I just go to Safeway?" They are fairly priced, but every time I have gone they NEVER have more than maybe 20 cake donuts (didnt know at multiple times during the day you let your business run out of donuts..) They rarely have raised donuts.. ok lets just say they dont keep their inventory up, ever. The service.. oh god.. I went in the other day and saw.. once again no donuts.. I saw the guy in the back was actually cooking some up, I wasnt in a hurry so I told the lady I was going to have a cup of coffee and just wait cause I was in no hurry. I fix up my cup and sit down, immediately a different lady asked what else I wanted I told her "oh a couple maple bars, a cinnamon twist, a couple chocolate raised, and a cream filled, the guy is making some and Im fine with waiting Im in no hurry." She proceeds to tell me that: no I have to just pick from what they had.. I told her "no really Ill just wait Im in no hurry" so she starts putting random donuts in the box I tell her I dont want those, she ignores me. The original lady come back with a few fresh maple and chocolate donuts and puts them in my box the other rude lady scoffs and looks at me like Im insulting her! Now this may be an isolated occurrence or two.. but really.. why has this employee not been corrected or fired? If I acted like this at my job I would be let go. Yeah over-all 3/10.

I honestly have no problem with the product, although it looks like some other people have. The problem i have is with the night time employee, which it look like other people do as well. First, he NEVER WASHES HIS HANDS. Ive seen him rinse his hands off one time. Second, he straight up STEALS MONEY. I dont take writing that lightly. Check this out: 6/22/17 @ 1:32am, i select my doughnuts, he bags them, he tells me its 5$. I give him a 5$ bill, and he turns around and sets it on the counter behind him. He doesnt type on the cash register, or even pretend to. I get in my car and sit for a second to see what he does. Takes the money off the counter and pockets it. Another way he does it, if you are paying cash, is he will ask if you need a receipt. which almost always Ive said "no". He will then either leave the cash on the register, wait until you leave and then grab it. Or he will put it in the register, wait until you leave and then pull it out. I promise i am not making this up, if this location has security cameras that stores footage, look at the time i wrote up above and you will see everything i just described. I have looked for any sort of "corporate" number or email to try to tell someone about this, but it only directs me here. The next time you go into this place super late at night, you are paying cash, and this guy is working...watch what he does with the cash you give him.

The guy who works nights is a douche. Hes short with customers and rude to anyone that isnt in a particular profile set. He seems to view customers as a nuisance; an interruption to his tweeker like donut making frenzy. No one ever just goes and sits there with their coffee and donut like before. Used to be a place for community interaction. Now its a wasteland of impersonal capitalistic trade, and the employees seem to barely understand or speak english. Not a racist, but I do expect to be treated with respect when I walk in, and I would like to be able to comfortably communicate with the person taking my order.

Yes, the staff do seem a little short with customers but I beleive there might be a slight language barrier, possibly. Different cultures dont do what we do, some dont smile at strangers & it comes off as rude to us. Other than that, I love, love, love these donuts. I cant stand Krispy Creme or Duncans. I was in Florida for 4 years & thats all they have. I was raised on the west coast with Winchells Donuts & I beleive Winchells became Heavenly & I love them! This one on McLaughlin is Fine, I went to the one on Gleeson & they were aweful! They treated me very badly. I will never go back to that one!

Dear Mr. Heavenly Donuts, your night worker Jose seems very upset to be serving donuts for a living. I can see why as it seems to be a very hard job to do. Picking up tongs and grabbing a donut or dos seems very hard to me too, i would be upset if i were in his shoes also. I think serving up food at taco bell or el indios would be a better fit for him if he wants to be in a more hospitable enviornment. Also, donuts were pretty average which is pretty dissappointing, not heavenly at all.

We were here in the early morning of the eclipse, there was a long line, I wished I asked your name. You were very helpful & very patient with some that couldnt decide between "light or dark" chocolate. Your raspberry filled donuts were gobbled up as were the maple, sprinkle, BACON, bearclaws, lemon, coconut....and chocolate. Thank you. There wasnt a crumb left!!

Heavenly donuts are some of my favorites in the Portland area. This location lives up to expectations and the service has been great everytime. The breakfast sandwiches are just microwaved deals, but are served on a fresh bagel. But this place is really about the donuts.

Every time I go there is no selection. I have gone morning, noon and night but they dont make them. They taste good when you can get them but sadly they dont make enough so I will be taking my business to another place.

I was there very late at night and found freshly made donuts that were so delicious. I also returned in the late afternoon and bought a Heavenly dozen, and all of them even at this time of day were fresh and delicious.

Best time to go is around 1am to 3am otherwise not worth it cause the doughnuts are not as fresh and not as many to pick from.

The staff always seem a little mad when someone walks in. Makes you feel unwelcome. Donuts are average at best.

Good doughnuts. They usually have the ones Im looking for. The price is pretty good for their doughnuts.
