I sold some items at Platos Closet, which is a store also owned by Clothes Mentor, and the manager at Platos told me I had a ton (10 bags) of very nice items, that were simply "too nice" for them, but I should take them to "sister store", Clothes Mentor - which was an hour away, because " they would love to buy my stuff". So I took all TEN bags of like new, very current clothing and name brand bags, etc, and after taking less than twenty minutes to look through all of it, they bought ONE SWEATER!! I truly could NOT believe it. They told me that my items were either too out of style (though they were mostly bought within the past year), or not in good enough condition, which I found totally bogus because I never wear my clothes more than 2 to 3 times at most, because I am a clothes horse and I shop so often. Also, the manager at Platos told me they were in excellent condition. I had brand new items with tags even, but they didnt want them either. In fact, they list on THEIR WEBSITE, that their most popular brands include Banana Republic, BCBG, Pink, Jones New York, Betsey Johnson, The Limited, Express, and Michael Kors. Guess what?! I had all those brands, among others, and they bought none of it. They offered me $3.80 for a Vera Wang sweater which retailed for over $100. I dont expect them to buy everything, or even most of them, nor do I think I will receive a fraction of what I paid, but this was insulting. It was not even worth the gas! When I mentioned to the sales associate that I was surprised and disappointed because the manager at their "sister store" told me I would have great luck there, she said, "Well, Platos Closet doesnt really know our standards or style". Wow, then I guess you shouldnt tell people youre related, or recommend to drive an hour away to check them out. Very misleading and even unprofessional. I would tell anyone with any DECENT clothes, etc. to steer clear. I know Ill never be back.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. The staff is very unprofessional and immature. They laughed at me and three coworkers talked about me (me being right next to them, they acted like I couldnt hear) I will never be back. VERY unprofessional place! I do not recommend going there and I will post this everywhere making sure everyone knows how horrible my experience was. I have talked with a few other of my coworkers and they brought clothes in one time and they did not buy A SINGLE THING FROM THEM. Then a hour later their mom takes the same clothes in to see if they were just being judgmental and guess what? They bought almost every clothes from their mother but not from them! This place sucks.

My new favorite store! I always dreamed for a store with sweet saleswomen who could direct me toward clothing that was flattering for my body type. The store actually trains their sales women to see their customers as "models" and what clothes and colors work for each individual. The clothes look new- the only difference is that the jeans are pre-shrunk! (Its a used-clothing shop.) The prices were amazing and the store looked beautiful. Once I went in for jeans and after I described what I was looking for, Aubrey picked out a few pairs of jeans for me out of the rack of about 50- her expertise on brand names and styles saved me a lot of hassle.

Terrible, sold a fake Louis Vuitton Wallet and said it was authentic. Manager very rude and defensive trying to cover for selling a fake. I was treated terribly by the manager, she was yelling at me in front of customers. Louis Vuitton does not spray on the LV and Serial Numbers, they are embossed. This was sprayed on and there was yellow glue all over the zipper. Customers should never be treated like this, especially when Clothes Mentor was in the wrong. Buyers beware.

I love this place!!! Designer clothes at very reasonable prices, this is my kind of place. I was sad because I just couldnt go through every shirt; there is just way too much stuff here.

Great store. I work for Macys and I sell all my used MK purses and wallets to them. I get back a good amount of change. And the clothes are nice too!
