This Walmart seems to pride itself on employing all the prejudice people of the Oxford community. For starters, just because my wife and I are of Asian ethnicity, the greeters turn their heads away as soon as we walk in. Once of twice I can understand, but 95% just shows how completely ignorant some people can be. Also, last sunday, I stopped by the car center in order to get batteries changed for my fathers car and even though the car center closes at 8pm and we were there by 5pm and only three cars were visible in the shop, the gentlemen working, told me that they were too busy to take my car in for a battery change! So I drove on down to Autozone, where a nice young lady took the time to sell me the battery and change it right outside in the parking lot within 10 minutes. Sadly, until my next move, Walmart will have to be the place my wife and I must shop in since they are the only supercenter of its kind within the city limits. However, I feel that the managers should think about teaching their employees the negative impact that racism can have and how the individual actions of their employees can tarnish the reputation of a wonderful community like Oxford.

Walmart of Oxford, OH has to be the worst Walmart on the face of the planet. If you need food, save your money and hitch a ride to Kroger! For anything else, youve better know what it is and where its located because no one will help you find it! Not because they dont want to help, its just that they dont know where it is either. If you have a question about something, use google or ask a neighbor. Dont bother calling because no one answers the phone! If someone does answer prepare to pull your hair out because they tell you "Im not sure about that can you hold on" and leave you on hold. Then about every five minutes or so they will check on you to see if youre still there. Its like theyre trying to piss you off! The employees have to be the most incompetent, ignorant group of hill billys I have ever seen! Its almost like theyre trying to go out of business!

The phone system and ability to answer and transfer a customer to a specific department is certainly not a positive attribute of the Oxford Ohio Walmart store. I called the store only to have the phone picked up and sat down on the receiver, thus, ending the call so not to be bothered. After 3 calls with rings up to 40 xs and 2 of the calls ended as described above, the call was answered. I asked to be transferred to the Automotive department only to have the same behavior in answering calls to occur, call disconnected again. Its summer time and the Miami students are not even back in town. Really, Walmart being the company they are tolerates this behavior. I say behavior, certainly answering a phone is not a training issue. I bet you wont see personal cell phone calls being disconnected. What a shame !

Its a Walmart what do you expect. You get used to Something in one place and then they move it on you. Wish they go back to the old ways that they promised. American made! They could bring down the cost if all the stores carried nothing but American made. Just one American consumers thought. But my pockets arent lined in Gold like the bigwigs are. As they continue to under pay their employees. No wonder its hard to get a smile out of any employee there. Not just this store every store I ever been in.

Im pretty disappointed with the in store pick up. I have used it twice at the Oxford location. Using the phone app to check in and tapping the card readers to check in is worthless. I tried calling the service desk no answer. This is at 8:30 on a Saturday morning. I had to track down an employee to page somebody over the intercom. This also happened around 6:30 PM about a little over a month ago on a Wednesday evening the first time I tried in store pick up.

Lousy, there is no cashiers and those elderly people trying. In short, this Walmart has terrible customer service and the employees make it obvious that they do not care about your shopping experience. I have had the pleasure of standing around for 30 minutes waiting for help at the customer service station, just to put this comment in perspective. I would highly recommend going elsewhere if you can, particularly if you are looking for help in the sporting and gun department.

I find it irritating for the cashier to bag my groceries then twirl the carousel around and wait for me to load my groceries. Walmart does not pay me. I pay them. If I wanted to bag my own groceries I would go to the self checkout. Im 70. The cashier was approximately 20. This happens to me frequently at Walmart. I buy most of my groceries at Kroger as I am never expected to do cashier job while shopping there.

The store is clean and organized. I have found the automotive service center to be borderline rude. I wanted to have a battery installed and there were only 2 cars in the bays. 1 oil change and 1 tire purchase. The service on these cars were well under way and I was told it would be over an hour. This has happened before especially on the weekends. I installed the battery myself and paid the 12 dollar core charge.

Soon as I walked in, I remembered why I Dont shop at Wal-Mart. HAD to go here for items not packed for camping trip by someone. So cluttered still, packed, Lines dont move. Understand some have no other choice but Wal-Mart limits their choice of merchandise squeezing suppliers. Small communities used to have varied small businesses who cared. No more "I could try to get that for you". And they are not low priced!

Wal-Mart sucks all of them terrible service substandard products long lines just to be told we dont have bags to put your purchases in and when I told them to either bag it or give my money back they told me to go stand in another long line for a refund . When I refused to do that another employee who realized how ridiculous the service was went to get more bags The corporation deserves negative stars

They didnt know where anything I needed was. I found most of it on my own and let them know where to look next time. They earlier told me they new they were out of stuff because they tried to help other people find it earlier. They seemed actually appreciative that I told them where to find there stuff at. Ohio walamrt definitely not as helpful as indiana walmart

Poor service automotive and fishing and hunting area, I waited 45 mins to ask an employee for ammo and didnt see one employee. I then called the store and asked for a manager to assist me and proceeded to wait an hour. Not one employee showed up so I just left because it had become dark and I no longer was able to do any Target practice
