#HomeDepot #robbed us. 4 day flooring install took 6 months to complete. Wrong materials ordered, floors damaged on multiple occasions, installers robbed us, communication horrendous throughout the process. I understand mishaps and bumps in the road but I expect good customer service and solutions delivered. This has not happened- got a whopping 15% back. NEVER USE Home Depot. Full details below: Oct 2016- #HomeDepot flooring quote Dec 2016- floor install scheduled. Was supposed to take 2-4 days total. Subcontractor tore up old tile and carpet and then discovered new floors were #damaged AND #wrongstairs ordered. Had to reorder floors, move daughter’s 1 year bday party to new location and celebrate Christmas w concrete foundation. Jan 2017- next set of floors arrive, ALSO #DAMAGED. Decide to go w completely different floor style since we couldnt get it right the first few times. Feb-Mar 2017- yet again, next set of new floors arrive. Subcontractor called off job. New subcontractors ROBBED OUR HOUSE. They got kicked off job. New floor guys put on job. Finish floors. But guess what? Not enough stairs ordered so cant finish job until more stairs come in. Finish job mid March. Communication from #HomeDepot throughout entire process was #horrendous. I told store manager multiple times that Im in the business world and Im more than understanding of #problems but I ultimately expect solutions to #issues. The manager said he would "fight" to get us reimbursed. The final refund was finally delivered to us in May of 2017. I would easily spend the cost of our floors at #HomeDepot again in the next couple of years but instead I will boycott them since they chose a measly 15% refund.

Update... I purchased an ac unit online for pick up. Got the email said it was ready. It was not. They spent 45 minutes trying to talk me into an exchange for a lesser unit. Finally, they "found" the unit I had putchased after 45 minutes of insisting it was not there. Fed up. Will try other locations. Selection and pricing is good. For the most part customer service was helpful. Check out was easy. But there was this one customer service representative that I am very unhappy with. I felt cornered I felt badgered and he made me feel stupid. I do not appreciate that kind of treatment. Ive rehabbed houses for more than two decades. Ill come back to this store. But Ill be sure to not see that associate or if I do to report him in person to his superior. No, I did not want to register for your plan. No I do not want to put the app on my phone. How would he know the app that hd has now is not the same app as I had before on my phone? He proceeded to try to sell me cell phone service from Sprint as well as entertainment tickets. I was not amused. I came to Home Depot to buy lumber not tickets, not phone service. I tried to politely decline signing up for pro service where I would have to sign in in advance and ask for my jobs and supplies to be picked out for me in advance. i choose to pick my own supplies. He said I could also use the service to "hire a man" if I couldnt do the work. I am insulted. Annoyed.

I specifically asked before buying a whole pallet of flooring whether I could return the individual boxes that were not needed after I was done. I knew I was going to have 4 or 5 left over. They told me that it would not be a problem. Of course, when I came back with the extra boxes, it was a problem. After much back and forth, they insisted on giving me store credit. Keep in mind, I had all receipts, original credit card, etc. When I complained about that, the clerk had to call the manager and try to explain it to them. I overheard the manager on the other end simply yell, "NOPE," without even listening to the explanation. Now I have a couple hundred dollars on a store gift card that I cant use online, and that forces me to spend my money at their store, where many of the things I want to buy are overpriced. This was obviously their goal.

I did not have a pleasant experience. There was no customer service and/or customer appreciation for the $1400.00 I was spending in their store. They ran my debit card said it declined, however was approved and deducted out of my available balance. It was a week long process till my money was released. All the while, I still purchased the $1400.00 materials for my bathroom remodel and paid by other means. All Darrin Swafford, Store Manager was asked by my bank to do, was to fax the bank a statement that my debit card would not be charged and my money wouldve been released. However, there was no cooperation and caused great amount of unnecessary stress and inconvenience to me and my family. Very uncaring and unorganized staff that doesnt communicate. If youre gonna shop at Home Depot, DONT SHOP AT 6562 Winford Ave in Hamilton Ohio.

We used the pro desk at the Hamilton, Ohio Home Depot for our business and weve had a HORRIBLE experience! David A. has dropped the ball and overpromised on timeframe and grossly underdelivered. Weve swipped our credit card for close to 10k for cabinets and countertops in January and are still dealing with issues from this order in May. We had to push back our grand opening of our store because the order information was entered incorrectly or weve been shipped wrong or damaged items. We ended up keeping a damaged cabinet because we couldnt push back our open date any longer. If you are on a deadline and need a quick, quality experience... do not buy from this stores pro desk.

My family came in for garden supplies yesterday. It was a terrible experience. I could not find any help for 30 minutes. I finally spoke to the cashier about a company product. Your website showed 200+ bags but your cashier said they didnt have any. When I asked for an associate she asked a vendor. His response was " I havent seen that". This was a good enough answer for your cashier. She then stated "if he hasnt seen it here it doesnt exist." I asked her to call a garden associate and she said they were all busy. I have spent allot of money at home depot. I have never been treated like this.

We recently went to purchase a gas grill...loved the selection and the employees were friendly and very helpful. The one we chose was showing they had three in stock..turned out they didnt have any, so the manager was kind enough to give us an up-grade AND they put it together for free!!!...not to mention they support our Armed Forces and gave him a Military Discount for his service to our country. We are dedicated Home Depot now!! Thank You for a great experience!!!

Bought tool from sales rep in tool dept which was locked down like ft. Knox and couldnt be unlocked untill it was checked out. Once unlocked found it to be the wrong thing. Back to find tool sales rep and then back to the service desk now to properly credit or exchange the wrong item they sold me. All of this without ever leaving the store with the item. When did it become so difficult to spend money in a store?
