I used to be a fan of this place, a faithful customer, but let me just say I am absolutely disgusted with the owner of this establishment. I come here almost everyday ( at least 4x a week) for my morning coffee, this particular day I didnt have much time and just needed to stop by the corner store ( dairy mart) directly next to it, I guess dairy Mart was re doing there parking lot this morning because it was all sectioned off, so I parked in the coffee shop parking space thinking it would be no big deal seeing as though I have parked in dairy marts parking spaces NUMEROUS times when the coffee shops spaces have been full, and I was running in for literally about 3 minutes. So as I pull in I notice that there are all these chairs by each space with a huge sign on each one saying Bexley coffee shop parking ONLY, I thought this was EXTREMELY off putting but hey things happen, so as I get out of my car one of the owners of the coffee shop comes running out and starts to scream at me that I cant park there, and I need to move. By this point I am astounded I have been a loyal customer for over 6 months to this company, and I am being yelled at by the very woman who I give my hard earned money to every week .... So, I then try to tell her that I am just running next door and would she mind if I just parked here for 2 minutes, she then goes into a huge rant about how they didnt communicate with her and how rude it was of them .... At this point Im completely dumb founded that this woman could be saying all of this, I then simply say " well there have been numerous times when this parking lot has been filled with customers for your business, and dairy mart hasnt had a single issue with people parking in there spaces .... I though local businesses are supposed to support each other" she then yells ( and yes yells ) that " they make loads of money, and she doesnt and how she will not support THAT business " what she meant by "THAT" business I do not know but Im assuming it has something to do with Racial background. By this point I am completely done with the situation, and I just decide to call it quits and pull off. I must say that I will NEVER and I mean NEVER be back to this establishment again, I do not want to support this caliber of people ... I am appalled and disgusted with this owner. This is not the image I want Bexley to be represented by. Overall, the coffee is not bad BUT the way these people treat people is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars @Eve. Im not sure what happen the night you tried to park in the coffee shop parking for the market but the one thing I am sure of, is that you did not get screamed at by the store owner. Maria is a very nice lady who does support local businesses. @Maria one of the coffee shop owners. My name is Scott, I was in just a there few minutes ago. Youll remember me by the company I work for, Dave Gill Chevrolet.Thank you for your kindness on my first visit to your coffee shop. Your coffee is one of my favorites in the city. And the Coffee bomb you gave me to try was fantastic. Ill certainly be back many, many times. @The World. If you want great locally sourced amazing high quality coffee and customer service experience go straight to, Bexley Coffee Shop. I promise you will not be disappointed. Starbucks has got nothing on this place. I drink coffee every single day and I have not been able to find a place comparable to Staufs Coffee which used to be my favorite. I pretty sure I will only go Bexley Coffee Shop.

Some of the best light roast drip coffee in the Columbus Area...smooth and not overly acidic...like many of the coffee shops in Columbus, I saw four of five selections of different roasts and different origins, but I didnt see the dozens of selections that you might see at a coffee shop that caters to a larger connoisseurial market, but the half-dozen roasts they did prepare (ok, I only tried three) were great roasts...so while they may not have as many roasts overall, they do seem to have just as many good roasts. I didnt try the pastries, but it looks like they are partnered with a local bakery and their options appear to extend beyond the standard donut or bagel options of most coffee shops...I believe they have some croissants and other more complex, layered pastries. Prices are a little high, and the shop is a little out of the way if you dont live in Bexley, but it is definately worth a visit if you are in the area.

The coffee and pastries were perfect. Great atmosphere and the baristas are all very friendly and make you feel like a regular (even if youre not one like me). The owners were even there when I was and made it a point to say hi and greet me. Just overall a very nice place with pastries that are to die for, excellent coffee selection, and great service from the top down. I will be frequenting them quite often now. (Oh and the have a "Take a book. leave a book... or two" program! Brilliant!)

Great coffee and espresso in a welcoming atmosphere. Owners and employees are friendly and pay individual attention to customers, locals and random drop-ins alike. Milk alternatives available for the dairy conscious. Bakery items and snacks available, light fare for breakfast like granola and quiche. Smoothies and soup available as well. Great find, will be back :)

Visiting from out of town on businesses. 6 hours to burn before flight. Googled Bexley Coffee Shop. What a great find! They make their own pastries, have local offerings from artists, paper makers, jellys and jams. Friendly staff, relaxed, retro decor, clean, wifi. You will not be disappointed.

If you like Crimson Cup, youll like this place, at least for their espresso. The taste is nearly identical, although youll pay more for it, here. Put another way, if you dislike Crimson Cups fruity espresso that doesnt taste like espresso, youll be dissatisfied, here.

New owners are committed to building a great coffee house. Theyve created a nice outdoor space and improved the indoor seating. Theyre utilizing an excellent local coffee roaster - and free refills. Service is friendly and efficient.

I LOVE this little shop! The service is great, the patrons are mostly friendly, the breakfast desserts are delish, and theres a lovely garden area where you can bring children to play and draw with chalk, while you sit and sip!

Coffee is pretty good but no matter who is working, all 3 times Ive stopped in they have been rude and grouchy. I thought maybe it was a one-time thing the first time but Ill find new coffee shop for next time.

ADORABLE coffee shop with AMAZING coffee, scones, and cheddar quiches. The owner makes all of the baked goods in house, so so yummy! I only get my coffee from here now and I love it. Thanks Bexley Coffee Shop!

An absolute staple to the nearby community. These lovely people will make anything you want, any way you want it. A lovely place for chess, chatting, reading or just sipping. Also dog friendly!
