An amazing book shop with extraordinary prices. This is more of a browsing bookstore, and not a place to go if you are looking for a particular book. And there are no oversized arm chairs to sit in and read. Books are displayed on homemade horizontal shelves (hence, the name of the store). But they have an incredible selection of just about everything, including best-sellers, and I easily find dozens of books Id like to get on every visit. They have a great teen and kids section as well. All books are brand new. Buy 3 or more books and get 70% off the cover price. Depending on the mix (paperback vs hardcover, kids book vs larger novel), we typically spend between $5 and $8 per book.
