Over the past 12+ years, I have shopped at Whole Foods in Texas, NY, California, DC, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada. This is one of 2 wholefoods in Cincinnati area and by far wins the worst ranking of all Whole Foods markets nationwide in my book and perhaps one of the worst grocers in Cincinnati (compared to Fresh Market.) Seriously, I go through weeks seeing the same empty produce shelves (been the case for a few years now) and hit and miss on other items. The staff are tired and their answers is always, "Well, our buyers like to keep the stock exact." Seriously, exact means empty shelves several days out of the week. So my answer is Farmers market and Fresh Market for produce, Whole Foods for dairy and meets, and BonBonnerie for anything sweet/breads. Other stuff I can always get on Amazon (like Toms of Maine) without restocking issues nor discontinuation that Whole Foods is famous for..

I have been to this store twice in my life. I was looking for specific ingredients for trail mix: (dried apples, dried strawberries, dried veggies, etc). The first time I came (about 2 months ago), there were NO dried apples (really, at an organic healthy food grocery store!?) but I found some spicy dried veggies to try and loved them so I wasnt too upset. I went in today to get those same spicy dried veggies, dried strawberries, and dried apples. I couldnt believe it- not only did they have no dried apples, but were also completely out of the dried strawberries AND the spicy dried veggies. WTH?!

I like to go to Kroger and get a salad or fruit for snacks during the day. I decided to give whole foods a shot because I had heard good things about it. First of all the salad bar is $9 per lb which seemed outrageous for a grocery store. They also had no fruit available at the salad bar either. So I went to the produce section where they advertise fruit cut that day. $6 for a tiny little container of strawberries and kiwi!! I can never justify spending that much when I can get it at Kroger for 1/3 the cost. Ill be sticking with Kroger.

Im giving this is it safe to store review primarily because I find the whole concept of Whole Foods to be very deceptive Maps intentionally perhaps unintentionally. But they lead you to believe upon walking in the door that they have a better quality, Cedar, accessibility, healthier product line. And I have found that to be true. I have also found it to be much much more expensive than necessary. Please note, there is nothing wrong with the merchandise they sell I just find to be sold under incorrect pretenses

Its always good to have something unique and different in the bowels of Cincinnati. There are some very overpriced items in the store though. Its definitely not the place to go if you are not well funded. ie a dozen cupcakes for $19.00!!!! Those better be the best cupcakes to ever be baked. The produce is way too high. The variety and craftsman ship and artisan ship is amazing though. If you want something you cant find just anywhere. This is the place to be.

The staff was super nice and helpful..the prices on most things (maybe like a dollar or two more than Kroger or there may be a slight quantity difference) wasnt too bad with the exception of produce which were a little too pricey for me...but the inside of the place reeked like the inside of a 1970s hippie hookah bar...Oh and I tried to buy some dry shampoo from there..never heard of any of the brands and they were selling them for Paul Mitchell prices,

My review is relative to the Whole Foods in San Diego and Louisville. 1. Customer Service - Cashiers take a very passive approach to customer services 2. Selection - This is the smallest Whole Foods Ive ever been in 3. Inventory - These guys are consistently out some things I expect of Whole Foods (white fish, cinnamon, ginger). I havent been a big fan of Fresh Market, but the Oakley Fresh Market is dramatically better than this Whole Foods.

As any Whole foods they sell a variety of organic products. The main thing with this particular store is that they seem to have trouble keeping some items in enough quantities in their inventory. Every time I go there they either dont have the oatmeal I like or they have only 1 box available. Also, the quality of the garlic and onions they usually have does not justify the price and I prefer to but those at another grocery store.

I spoke with Beth today on the phone. I am trying to eat more organic foods. I tried to drink organic milk and did not like it. I thought that I would call and talk to someone about why the milk tasted differently. She was really nice, knowledgeable and patient. She gave me some great tips so that I can move towards eating more organic foods and cooking more at home. Beth was great. Thanks for good customer service

I will say this.... Whole Food Market-is VERY Pricey.. But I do Like, their Chicken salad- the one without the grapes and pecans,They made these slamming tortillas with lime,, The tiramisu...Well, I like it, I always order a large pan around the Holidays and I will pick up a pre-slice one if its available. The people,,, some of them are VERY nice. :D

Very clean and organized store the employees are resepctful and informative. The breakfast is amazing as well as the salad bar. The ban list of artificial ingredients is a hit no other grocery store has a list such as this to keep the public safety of dangerous ingredients in the food they sell. I will continue to shop here for the rest of my life.

Clean, comfy and not overcrowded place to grab some nice food and have an easy dinner. Love their deli, hot bar and breakfast. Fresh produce seems taste way better than same stuff from Kroger. Everyone who works here is super kind and friendly - always willing to help and have a little talk on check-out.

On the smaller end of Whole Foods, but the staff is phenomenal at this location. The coffee is excellent, hot bar is well-maintained, and the environment is relaxing. Small beer selection here, though.

I love whole foods because, no matter where I go, I can always count on them to have a better variety and quality in organics, and theyre the only place that sells the herbal tinctures I need.

Conveniently located for Hyde Park & Oakley. Pretty good seating area if you want to grab a bit. As WF stores go, this one is on the smaller side, but it fits well with the neighborhood

It has to be my favorite grocery store in the world. And, that is no exaggeration because I have traveled the world. If they dont have it dont worry it wasnt good for you any way!
