DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!! THIS IS NOT A STORE OWNED BY SEARS, THIS IS A PRIVATELY OWNED SEARS OUTLET. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THE ITEMS THEY SELL, THEY SELL RETURNED ITEMS THAT DO NOT WORK! We purchased a Samsung 4 door refrigerator on June 4 got it home, plugged it up and the freezer did not work! We went to the Sears outlet in Greensboro where we purchased it from and the assistant manager Susan was very short and not willing to help. She kept trying to sell us a protection plan for an additional $700 on top of the $1300 we spent on the piece of junk. Susan stated, that we could add the protection plan and then wait for 30 days until we call to have the refrigerator fixed, because the protection plan doesnt take effect for 30 days after purchase. I told Susan I would NOT wait for 30 days without having access to a freezer. She was only trying to sell the protection place because they make commission off each sell. This place is a JOKE!!!! So, I asked her if we could have someone come to fix the refrigerator and she said yes, but we will have to pay for it out of pocket. I then asked if she could exchange the refrigerator for something comparable to what we purchased. So she showed us the units comparable to what we purchased, but they were $700 plus dollar difference and she said we would have to pay the difference out of pocket! THEN I asked her to send someone to pick up the piece of junk and she said that they would, but we would have to pay $81.99 to have them come get it. So, basically, our only option is to take this crap back at our own expense to the store, in which, Susan informed us that since we paid cash that we would receive our refund in the form of a check, which would be mailed in 5-7 business days!!!! THIS IS SOME BULLSHIT!!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! WE ARE COVERING THE REPAIR COSTS OUT OF POCKET. AFTER CONTACTING SAMSUNG WE WERE NOTIFIED THAT THIS WAS A USED UNIT AND THE WARRANTY WAS NO GOOD! SEARS OUTLET DID NOT NOTIFY US OF THIS BEING A USED UNIT. THEY ARE CROOKS! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

My 88 year old mothers dryer went out and was a very old Kenmore, so I thought about another Kenmore, then remembered the outlet store. Even though money is not a huge issue, I manager her accounts and wanted to be a good "steward" of her money. I went online and found 4 new Kenmore electric dryers in stock at 10 pm Friday night. I had to work until 2 the following Saturday, so I drove my truck to work, then proceeded to drive to Greensboro at 2 pm that afternoon. I arrived, the sales person Brittany asked if I needed help. I said "yes, I would like the new Kenmore dryer advertised online for $329." She excused herself to go check, came back and said "we are out of them". I questioned the fact that the online site showed 4 the night before, how could they have sold that many already. She said they are very poplular, sorry. She gave me her card and said they should get a shipment in Tuesday, check with her then. I left there agitated, but it is what it is. So then Monday night, I go online and this time it shows 3 of the dryers in stock. I call Tuesday morning, inquire to make sure they are there before again driving to Greensboro. The lady who answered said to hold, came back about 8 minutes later and said "sorry, we dont have any in stock". I told her they showed 3 on the internet. She apologized and said I will report the error. She then said, yes, we sold 2 of them in the last 2 days. I then said, really? Then why was I told Saturday you didnt have any? She then back pedaled and said, "what is today? I meant to say last Thursday and Friday. At this point, I wouldnt buy one from Sears Outlet if it were on sale for $1.00! I dont appreciate being jerked around and lied to. Starting to look like deceptive business practices rather than a failure to update a website. If I go online today and see it again, they better be instock or my next call is the attorney general!

Horrible service!! If I could give them zero stars I would. I purchased a washer and dryer that was on sale 4th of July weekend scheduled the delivery for July 10th. Needed to re-schedule because I was going out of town that weekend. I went to the store, spoke to an associate who wrote down my new delivery date of July 9th. I never received a call the evening before in regards to the time of my delivery so I call the morning of the 9th and the warehouse advises me that my delivery is still listed as scheduled for the 10th. Apparently the store never contacted the warehouse to advise of my new delivery date. I then have to reschedule my washer and dryer for July 17th. The day of the 17th my delivery arrives, everything is fine until they advise me that something is wrong with my dryer and that I would need to switch out for a new one. They proceed to tell me that they would contact the store who would arrange for a new delivery date with a new dryer. I wanted to be sure so I called back and spoke with someone from the delivery company and they tell me that the store was indeed notified and they would call me with a new delivery date. This was Friday, today is Tuesday and still no call from the store. I called the outlet this morning and speak to Otis (sales associate), he advises me that this is not the proto call and that I would have had to come to the showroom and re-select my item. He says they no longer have the dryer that I originally purchased and that I could pay more or I could get a refund. So I am pissed, I will never purchase anything from this store again.

If I could give a negative rating I definitely would! I bought a washer dryer and stove here the guy that sold it to me which is the older gentleman there I dont remember his name will say anything to get you to buy stuff and then when you go to pick it up he gives you something that you did not pick out in my case he brought out a washer that was a floor model and that was not what I paid for I paid for a washer in the Box. When I told him this he said well you already paid for everything so its your choice if you want to leave everything to. This particular washer never washed correctly and he close on top would always be dry and never got washed I had to wash clothes two or three times for it to wash thoroughly. I did have an extended warranty and I called Sears several times but they told me that this was normal that if I wanted to keep the washer to just keep it on the large load settings. Well thats not very efficient now is it? Terrible place please go somewhere else and save yourself the frustration.
