I have purchased various products from REI and have always had a positive experience, whether it was with customer service or the product itself. I recently decided to purchase a Fitbit Charge and figured I would do it at REI because of my experiences. I encountered a problem with my Fitbit recently due to a manufacture error and contacted Fitbit regarding my problem but have not heard back from them after several days. I took my Fitbit to REI and received a replacement from them and once again am impressed with their customer service! I will continue to purchase anything that I can from REI, excellent service!!

Recently stopped into this REI to try on a few pairs of shoes that I have been researching for awhile. I was greeted by Matt about the same time I made it to the shoe department. He helped me step by step and educated me on backpacking footwear along the way. He was very knowledgeable about all types of footwear and didnt mind helping me knowing i probably wasnt going to purchase that same day. The store also has a nice selection of other outdoor gear. I want to give the store 5 stars and Matt 10 stars! Somebody give that man a raise! Keep up the great service Matt!

Just stood around for an hour trying to buy a Yakima roof rack for $549.00. I said I would definitely buy one, but wanted to compare the 16 vs 18 models. The older male employee said he would bring a 16 model out from the back so I could compare side by side. An hour later, no model and actually felt like he was ignoring me. Earlier, I asked if he would help me out on my roof and he told me only if it is not raining out! Otherwise, I could pay $30 and the staff would do it. Not a great first experience at this store. Unlikely to come back.

Great selection and the return policy is excellent although I rarely use it. Just knowing I have a retailer that is out to make sure Im satisfied makes me buy more stuff though. I still hit up the bike shops for my major cycling gear but I buy energy bars, clothing from here. Ive also purchased all my fitness trackers from here as they usually one of the first places to get the new products in stock. Staff is excellent and willing to help you find the right item for you.

Very helpful staff! They are composed of people experienced with camping (or other outdoor activity), so you benefit from their expertise! I had 30 different items I needed to buy for my daughters camping trip and I was helped with everything. The prices are a little higher than Amazon, but they have a great return policy on most items, where if they tear or break within a year, they will replace it (with lifetime membership of $20 or email that receipt).

These guys and gals really know their stuff. I needed a new headlamp for night fishing and was looking at several brands until it went to REI. One of the sales associates see me looking at the headlamps and quickly pointed out the pros and cons of each unit I was looking at. Using his advice I made my purchase and Im very happy with it! Their prices are about par with everyone else but their knowledge of the product is amazing.

I ordered a new Pungo on sale...always exciting to get what you want at a good price....but...the seat was bolted in crooked by 4"! Not good. Mark at REI, Pineville, demonstrated REIs commitment to its customers by tracking down my kayak color and having it shipped to the store. With the approval of his manager, I got a bonus discount for time and stress and am a happy paddler, cruising the rivers of the coast.

I came in there to get myself a backpack for small multi-day trips. Didnt really know what I was looking for at all, I just knew it needed to fit my 67" frame. Bryan went above and beyond in helping me finally seal the deal on an Osprey pack. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the packs in the store. Great store and great employees! I will be returning here whenever I am home and in need of gear!

The people who work here are hardcore outdoorsmen/women. Very knowledgable and willing to help a customer who isnt quite sure what he needs/wants. With the REI membership, you can return basically anything in the store that youre not 100% satisfied with. I have not had to use this benfit because their sales help is so good with helping me find exactly what I need.

Couldnt ask for better customer service here. Friendly and knowledgable staff make the shopping experience a breeze. The quality and selection of their products are great and if they dont have it in the store they are more than happy to order it for you and have it sent to your house. Shipping is usually free and orders come quick.

The staff is always nearby and offering to help with any questions you might have. Every item has multiple brand options to choose from. And I love that you can try things out in the store. They have a rock fixture for testing hiking boots and a raised platform for testing sleeping bags and pads, for example.

I can only rave about the staff here. Ive invested in both bike racks and various other cycling gear such as a camelbak. The staff are always so friendly and helpful in making decisions. When I bought my bike rack they even helped me carry it to my car. Really great people here.

Theres a lady who is the lead employee who floats between the two stores, shes great! Love dealing with all the employees except one older guy. Hes balding- very upset old guy. Great company! Great prices! Great products! Join the Co-Op:) its totally worth it!

Great location for an REI outlet. Love this store and the variety of gear they have. Almost anything one might need. Only issue is that it can be a little tricky getting into the parking lot. Other than that great store and fantastic customer service.

Pretty good outdoor retailer, Saturday morning they have the "yard sales" which are a good place to snag deals. good selection of kayaks and large bike selection. No hunting equipment but they do have good hiking boot selection along with handheld gps
