I heard from about a dozen people the pharmacy at this CVS was getting more rude and disorganized. I had a script ready for over 2 weeks. I called they told me id get a text as usual when its ready. Time went by and i went to see in person if it was ready. They said no not for (i forget the date) but it would have been 51 days later when it was ready weeks ago, big issue there when it comes to meds. Next problem the new people working there especially (and a few older workers) are VERY RUDE and made me feel horrible. I go to my Dr., he puts the script through, and i get a call 10min later. I didnt get a name but will be following up and complaining to many agencys or whoever can make it less a pain to deal with these people. He was very aggressive i could tell on the phone it was busy cause he seemed to be rushing he tells me its ready tomorrow, before i had the chance to ask questions he abruptly hangs up after giving me an attitude for telling him one of the 2 scripts will not be ready next day because i got it more recently (yet another mistake good thing Im a good person and let them know they made a mistake) The tone of his voice. The huffs and grunts I got really upset me, what happened to people treating people in a nice manner? I will be following up because this isnt the first time or problem. There have been more than one maybe 4 or 5 occasions where i got either the wrong strength medication so much if i took it i could have gotten hurt. Sometimes Im missing a pill or two, and once i got one extra. I now count in my car and will be counting all the pills with them watching so they can see the mistake. Medication is no joke, i hate taking anything even aspirin so when i go for prescribed medication and theres mistakes, VERY RUDE workers (the pharmacy, the rest of the store seems to be kind people) Make no mistake i will be following up through third parties and management because this was my experience. Imagine having a terminal illness ans having to deal with these issues? I want those people to not have to worry and from all the backlash i hear from family and friends who use this as their pharmacy all say the same thing. I dont need to feel like less of a person because these people have an ego or dont know what they are doing. I will be trying my best (i record all phone calls with an app after the first rude phone call maybe 1-2 months back.) And trying to find out who was so rude. You dont talk with a angry attitude like Im inconveniencing you, ITS YOURE JOB and he called me to tell me both meds are ready the next day, even though only one was but as i said i brought that up. Just be warned when going here they are rude and make more mistakes then should be legal. One example is i git hemroid creme and anti antibiotics when my script was for my medication, this caused someone to not get their creme and pills on time Im sure so i returned it asap. Just expect a lot of road bumps if this is where you choose to pickup youre medication. If you have a extreme illness i would avoid this CVS at all costs so you dont get stuck between a hard place and a rock. Im a philanthropist and dont want people treated the way i was. Also make sure you arent being overcharged, thats a whole other issue i could go on about but i already said enough. We are all human, we need to be nice to each other and do our jobs properly, which is why i will do what i can to stop this horror show of a pharmacy from messing up scripts and being insainly rude. Good luck if you use them and dont let them be mean to you. I hope CVS checks their reviews one more instance like the past few, and before I change pharmacys I will make sure these issues are fixed so people dont have to go through all the stress I went through. Good luck, and treat people the way you want to be treated. I also saved the packet bag thing the medication comes in and will upload a photo, it reads "Sorry for our mistake CVS" It also looks like it says 11796 showing its the more recent one. This was when they shorted me meds by about 10.

Pharmacy is very rude [HUGE: Update at bottom its a disgrace.]. I get text my prescription is ready then talked down to that its to early and to stop getting it early. I get it when I get the text simple as that I work 50 - 60 hour weeks so I try to get it ASAP. They make you feel like trash for getting medication. Its ridiculous. Also many mistakes were made where i was missing a pill or two and it wasnt a controlled substance so someone is messing up. They make me feel like dirt for medication I take. Its such a sad thing for me that i get scared to go there sometimes. Im a good person and they make me feel like a bad person. It was never like this, the rudeness, and looking down upon customers... I hate taking my medication, but it helps my life condtion. I hate taking anything, even aspirin. And they make me feel like a terrible person for having ADD/Anxiety disorder. Im thinking of reporting them I have on tape me opening and counting pills as well cause it seemed to happen almost regualry at a point that i wanted to document it for future purposes. Also they made a mistake making me pay more money they I should have for my medication. Unacceptable. Good people dont deserve this type of treatment. EDIT: Also have a camera inside my car, and you can see how rude they are at the drive through. I wont mention names, but one got really mean. He was such a nice man till recent. UPDATE CONFLICT OF INTREST : After My review, and shortly after others a week ago a person commented had of pharmacy is great! with 5 stars, i wont name them , this person is in relation to the head of the pharmacy tying to grab more good points for their store, which makes this even more tragic. Such a shame. Also people pictures have been getting taken, happened to a friend a week ago. So I guess all aspects of this CVS are bad. I dont say this out of spite. I say it out of care for the community and dont want people screwed over.

Mom got hurt from pharmacy mistake they gave her way to much of a dose of seroquel or something, she has sleep issues and they made it worse. Whatever the medication was and I believe it was the sequel, had her sleeping for literally 2 days, I almost called 911 but i called the doctor and was told she will be fine after explain the dose. My DR after thats eyes widened and she freaked that they dose was so high for a mild sleep issue because her cancer is preventing her from sleeping well. Whatever dose/med it was doesnt even matter, the fact that they put her on an amount they give to people who need it bad, not for mild sleep baffles me. This is a huge mistake. Im only posting this now because after it happened I checked reviews and saw so many bad ones about the pharmacy. So i decided to let you in on my experience with the West Sayville Pharmacy, glad i check others reviews, most seem bad. This was bad. Im still in shock and ima 18, it induced my first panic attack...Ever. I now understand what a panic attack is, thanks CVS in West Sayville!
