This store is very cute and lovely. As Chinese New Year was coming, I was looking for a gift for my Chinese doctor. I walked into this florist, and asked if they can make something unique for me. Store staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They made a beautiful flower arrangement with some Chinese New Year celebration elements. The arrangement was delivered on time upon my request, and my doctor was amazed how well it captured Chinese New Year spirit. Of course everything was worked out in my budget! I highly recommend this store. I will go back for other occasions! They have various gift items for you to choose.

I have been a customer of Shady Brook since moving to West Islip in 1994. Part of the fun shopping in their store is viewing the unique gifts they offer besides the fresh flower arrangements. I prefer to view my gifts & flowers in person rather than shopping on the internet. Although,when hard pressed for time one phone call to Annette, the owner is all that is needed. I have only good things to say about this wonderful Florist, I live out of State GA I had to rely on their judgement and they never let me down my Sister still has a beautiful floral design of silk arrangement because she has allergies. She was so happy I saw them when I visited her a year later beautiful. Many other gifts. I highly recommend them

This is a great florist on Montauk Highway in West Islip that makes beautiful customized flower arrangements and gift baskets. Top notch and just cant get any better for something special and unique instead of a standard cookie-cutter arrangement. I have been a customer for over 20 years and highly recommend them to everyone I know!

Horrible very rude staff, tacky arrangements- who puts a red bow on a purple vase with orange flowers? I have never been treated so rudely. Use another florist is my advice.
