arrived at the pick up counter I pressed the button and waited. Pressed it again and waited some more, after a while I stepped behind the counter and opened the door to the wearhouse and asked out loud if anyone can help me with my pick up, nobody responded, so I finally got sick of waiting I googled the wall mart phone number, I called and told the guy about the problem Im facing, he apologized and a few minutes later someone came and said that he is the person that answered the phone, he apologized and gave me my stuff that I bought.... I had a terrible experience...I dont recommend ordering online and picking up, (it was at least 35 minutes) when I could of just bought the stuff from the shelf and pay at the cash register, the only reason I waited 35 minutes was because I already paid for the purchase online.

With a local reputation for general shopping unpleasantness an occupation of corporate dispatched management and corrective staff flooded this location over the last year to whip things into shape. Though largely effective with props and applause for the effort; which left behind a tangible improvement, shopping here is not what I would call self fulfilling. Often out-of-stock items with shelves in disarray, you can meet your goals if you "hit it right." Lines are long, understaffed and s-l-o-w. Anticipate being treated as a potential larcenist as you are intercepted at the exit by loss prevention staff desiring to view your receipt. Though Ive never been asked, nor would I comply, I have seen customers offering up their papers in timid accord.

The employees who are in charge of providing customer service are, either in the wrong business or have not been trained how to SPEAK, APROACH and RESOLVE PAYING CUSTOMER problems. I was sick to my stomach the way the supervisor whos in charge of customers service treated my wife and I. She witnessed the employees talked to us like pigs and did absolutely nothing. I used to like shopping in this Walmart, but gradually saw a change in staff from customer friendly to the complete opposite. Ive worked in retail for 20 years and would NEVER tolerate any of my employees provide less than excellent customer service. These employees fail to understand that if customers do not walk in the store, theyre out of a job!!!! My grading is a -1 star.

Unfortunately this Walmart seems to hire only the cheapest immigrants with limited knowledge of the English language. (you get a lot of French - Haitian). If you want any help you are on your own. Many employees seem to wander around lost. When there are backups at the cash registers ( a very common occurrence since this is the only Walmart around) The customer service will "request" employees to come back to work. There is no supervision, no boss, no management so unfortunately you get Poor service. The store is very busy since they have no competition. If Target moves in to the available mall at the corner of Rt 59 and Airmont, they will blow Walmart out of the neighborhood.

Lets face it, the place is right past Monsey. so right then and there you already know........ But anyway, alot of the coworkers (not the new staff) dont do their jobs. They talk on the phone, hang out with other employees. Their shelves are a mess ALWAYS and out of order. Products arent stocked as they should be, bad upkeep, dirty on the inside. I dont see any cleaning being done. Ive watched them redo the inside of the store too and its still a mess. They really should consider new upper Management. This place has potentional, but in over 10 years.....who the hell in charge of this place? Its terrible and always has been. Id rather drive to Monroe than to go here.

Closing all of the self checkouts and but one checkout lane an hour before close on a Saturday night when there was a line no less than 30 people long. Will blatantly clog aisles with restocking equipment to the point where passing through is a challenge, even without a cart. Staff is unfriendly, cold, and lethargic except for the older gentleman in sporting goods; He is the one knowledgeable and friendly employee there. That being said - its a Walmart. It has what you need and is open longer hours than most stores. As long as you dont mind wading through screaming children running rampant and know exactly what you need and where to find it, youll be fine.

Today I received an email that my item was available for pick up. I arrived at pick up at 7:50. A sweet woman try finding my package but the bins that were created were no where to be found. She buzzed the manager several times and he refused to come to pick up section. She looked as I waited for a half and hour. She continued to call the manager and he failed to respond. At 8:30 pm I was told that she couldnt find the item and to come back. Im disappointed in this manager actions. Its disgusting for a customer to wait a half an he and then be told to come back tomorrow.

They are NOTshort staffed yet they dont answer their phones. 45 minute wait to pick up an online order, because nobody mans that counter! Always have to page someone because they dont respond to their bell device for online order pick-ups! The staff doesnt care and it shows. Its a reflection of management. The store manager is the worst I have ever experienced. And when you get angry at the poorly stocked shelves, everything she will "investigate" and tell you to "watch the attitude!" The assistant managers care more! HORRIBLE. Just get in and get out as fast as possible!

Mal servicio, desordenado.

Hands down the WORST Walmart location I have ever been to. If I could give it zero stars- I would. This place is a mess, product everywhere and no one cleans it up all day. Its dirty too. They are understaffed up front, at the photo center and @ the site-to-store counter. And seem to be overstaffed everywhere else. Every photo order i have picked up is not ready (even though they email me telling me it is) and I have to wait 30 minutes. Very frustrating on my lunch break. Its a disgrace. I hope I never have to go to this store again. DO NOT GO HERE.

How do you save money & live better??? This store is a reflection of lackluster service, inept sevice of people who work there do not do anything , but roam around the store and avoid customers best they can. If you look for someone to help you your in luck, Should be called self service, plus the lines is outrageous, they have over 12 lines with only two - three cashiers? Why? If you buy anything , give yourself time to check out or your blood pressure will rise waiting to check out. What a joke!!!!! Never ever going to this store ever!!!!

Some staff are very helpful. Others seem to have real difficulty understanding english-speaking customers, or are indifferent to a question about a department they dont work in. I did find what I wanted. Prices range from very reasonable to exceptional bargains. Nice clothing at rock-bottom prices. And the $12 dress shirts are easy to iron! Checkout didnt take too long, but the cashier seemed very stressed. All-in-all, its a good store to have in the area, but there is certainly room for improvement in staff training and motivation.
