Incompetance or Laziness: My wifes car would not start without a jump, so I told her to get to Advance Auto Parts in Saratoga Springs and they would test and replace the battery if needed. The man at the counter said he could not help her as he was the only one there to manage the register, but someone might be able to assist in an hour or so. As my wife was then stranded with our two small children, I had to leave work so I could give her a jump and go to Napa. When I got to Advance, I saw an Advance employee walking through the parking lot and several others in the store. The man who refused to help my wife could not provide an explanation as to why they could/would not help. My conclusion is as follows: They were to lazy to go out on a hot day or they were too incompetant to use a battery tester/install a battery. Avoid this location if you need assistance.

If you have to ask for assistance here rather than walking in and just grabbing something off the rack, avoid this location. I ordered a wheel hub for my car and when I opened the box the next day to install it, I found that the "new" hub was used and damaged in multiple places. Then, when I called to exchange the bad one for a new one, they gave me an attitude and made comments about me damaging it myself. I will never use this location again.

A very very poor excuse for an auto parts store. Theres maybe one person who know what they are talking about. The rest suck. Your better off asking one of the bums in toga to help you with your auto needs. GO TO NAPA!
