OK so first off this store is very clean, has decent prices and the staff is very friendly. You can definitely find everything you need here. The reason i rated this store a 3/5 is because stop and shop is my go to store for vegan products. This location has Hampton creek mayo, salad dressing, enjoy life cookies, daiya Mac and cheese and some other products a vegan would love on shelf. They also have a variety of non-dairy ice creams such as, so delicious, Ben and jerrys, bryers, and more. They also carry Gardein products as well. What this store lacks is a bigger fridge section with vegan products. They have a small section in the produce section which includes tofurky deli slices, tofurky sausages, vegan hot dog brand, vegan bacon, and plain tofu but thats about it. They include some vegetarian products in that section too. Stop and shop is my go to place for a variety of different cheese options and being a convenient place from home I have to drive to another stop and shop just for cheese. I requested to bring daiya cheese to this stop and shop location when it opened up and patiently waited but nothing. I am hoping that they expand their fridge section and add at least one cheese company thats vegan. And some more vegan products like the other stop and shops.

On more than one occasion had to walk away from the Deli where the deli woman was coughing quite on and off. The first time I encountered this I ignored it, and later got the flu and from then on, as this woman has a persistent cough, I decided that I would not order anything from her when shes there. On another occasion I saw her handle something without even changing gloves. One time I had a conversation with another employee who told me how many times the deli employees mishandle poultry and mix do they shouldnt. I believe this is the same staff from before they changed to stop & shop almost nine months or so ago. While most seem courteous enough, theyre lack of common hygiene and food handling is frightening. This is probably one of the worst Stop & Shops that Ive been to and have a poor selection. Even the vegetables in some other stores keep some things constantly sprayed. For example, the cilantro here is not kept wet and is quite dry. I just dont buy it anymore. Unless I need something right away, I now prefer to to the the Key Food further down. I just wish KF was open as late as Stop&shop.

I never thought Id say this but I miss Waldbaums stop and shop on Crossbay Boulevard in Howard Beach is the worst! Their stock is never the same so the basic and other things you look for are never in stock and their meat Dept is seriously sad unless all you eat is Ny strip, London broil or flank steak because thats all they have and thats even if they maybe they have those 3 types of steak in stock. The pasta isle is a complete joke if youre leaving lucky they might have at best 3 brands and out of those 3 brands you might if youre lucky find 3 or 4 different types how do you expect to stay open in an Italian neighborhood with such a limited pasta selection? To sum it up? The pasta isle wont be the only reason they wont last long its only a matter of time AND NEXT!

I have asked for a certain product for months now, and still, nothing. they keep giving me forms to fill out, which i fill out... nothing. strange, because they had this product when they first opened. Im over this store. terrible customer service, terrible management. when you try to find someone, they run! its still the same old waldbaums. and those carts, they are so small you cant fit bottled water, or anything else on the bottom. i dont have time to go back a few times during the week, and get very frustrated not being able to get everything i need with these ridiculous carts.. Im not happy.

Does not stand up to other stopand shops, maybe keeping those nasty useless employees from Wauldbaums is not letting this store progress. No customer service, they hide, even if you find one they have no clue about anything, not what we wanted, we expected better,too bad sometimes we wanted better. Shelves not stocked, promised so much more and it sucks. Thanks we have keyfood, Foodtown, and shop right and other local small shops I Love to shop in local stores, this stop and shop is horrible, ,

Prices are lower than most other grocery stores....$100 will go far and allow you to buy enough for a week. I personally go out of my way to shop here! Key food is only 1 block away from me and I rather walk 1 mile in order to shop here. Never had problem with purchasing expired items as sometimes other stores have expired items still on the shelf...stop n shop cares

This store gets on my nerves everyone is so disrespectful went in there yesterday and the guy who looks like hes cross eyed I say to him excuse me and hes like she has enough room to pass im like really thats how you talk to customer makes me sick to my stomach in there rather go to ShopRite much better heard its really good to

In this store almost all the workers are very racist, went one day went for some stuff that they over charged, Angela, this little BRAT thinks she is all of that, wants to talk time to me like Im am an AIRHEAD like she is. For her info its an Italian neighborhood BUT its not an Italian store near nor an Italian country

It has everything, as always with any Stop & Shop. Its clean and employees are friendly. Only one slight issue, one attendant look to be a supervisor had her mobile phone on speaker and I overheard the entire conversation about a friend being cheated on... friend on the phone was cursing loudly.

The store is clean, everything is organized. There is always someone who is around to assist with any questions or any item you are looking for. Very courteous staff, prices are affordable and competitive with other stores. Very good selection of products. Parking is very convenient also...

Well organized and competitively priced. Staff is nice but not as friendly as Waldbaums staff. They should have retained the previous employees. Parking lot is huge which is a bonus. The only issue is they do not have many lanes open for checkout and that can get annoying sometimes.

Smaller than most Stop & Shops. Lots of parking. They close the entrance door after a certain time so you have to go in the exit but there are no signs and it causes traffic as customers can only pass each other while going in our out one at a time.

Family supermarket . Great prices . Ample free parking . Only set back is that you need a quarter for the cart , which you do get back when you return the cart . The staff is pleasant and accommodating as well

The main thing is it close to where i live. It has alot of things but to be honest shoprite which is one community away has more products and carries some things stop and shop doesnt carry.

Cashiers were taking there sweet time to ring up there customers, cashier had a full blown conversation with a man and did not acknowledge me at all. I ended up switching lines.
