I have to say, I can appreciate that this place is open all night, however, I have never been impressed by the staff here in my three years of living in New Paltz. They make good food, however, the staff has just never been too friendly. I stopped in tonight and was standing ready to be checked out for three minutes (no one else was in line) and there were two guys behind the counter who saw me, yet completely ignored me. When I said "excuse me, I"m ready to be checked out", the guy said "I know." Hmmm... So if you knew I was there and waiting, why didnt you assist me? Or, why didnt you at least tell me that you would help me in a minute or so instead of blatantly ignoring me........ Not impressed.

Some people may tell you that a ham & Swiss sandwich is a simple, pedestrian thing, unworthy of much notice. Today my taste buds convinced me otherwise; every component of the sandwich was just right -- I even mourned the piece of lettuce that slipped out and fell to the floor. My small, windowless office, where I usually eat a lunch Ive made myself, is at present the only place I want to be. And the staff at the New Paltz Convenient Deli are as courteous and considerate as they are efficient. The only bad news is that I am now the SECOND best sandwich maker I know.

Ive had nothing but horrible experiences at this deli! The owner treats her staff horribly and is known to belittle them in front of customers. Not only is she horrible to her staff, but shes rude to customers as well. Beware asking her a question about food on the menu she will talk to you like your stupid.

Came by here one late night, overheard the staff commenting, "Man, this food is old", in regards to the food that was already out in the refrigerated section, and didnt do anything about it. Surly staff and manager. They do make pretty decent bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, however, but thats about it.

Food is so poor here and costly. Its like theyre not even trying. Bad atmosphere. Bad everything. No need to eat here when there are so many other great options in town.

They have the best sandwiches! I used to get ham and white american cheese on a roll. Amazing. I left suny a couple years ago but I still miss those sandwiches

Friendly staff, open when all else is closed... And they actually sell creamer. Most of the gas stations stopped carrying it smh! thanks convenient!
