This supermarket is awesome! When Food Bazaar first opened a little over 5 years ago, I doubted that it would come this far. But what changed my mind about that was a customer service experience I had with them. The manager was very business-like, very pleasant and valued the customers that shopped there. Now look at Food Bazaar of Mount Vernon! The renovations done on the store: awesome! Now, there is a pharmacy inside the store, a full service bakery, full service deli ( the fried chicken you must try!), a full service fish market, and a meat market with the offer of cutting your meats for free! This is a must go to place!

This chain replaced Pathmark and made it 100% better. The place is HUGE, and their selection fits the space. Food products from all over the world. The bakery is were I feel they excel at. Ive come in there asking for the impossible, gave them a week and BAM ready for pick-up! The meat department shines as well. The prices are great for some items, but there needs to a sale every once in a while for imported foods. Overall, I love this place.

Dont judge a supermarket by its outer looks. I was completly fooled this place has everything and its huge i love it. So should everyone else except staff was quite unfriendly atleast in the mount vernon food bazaar. We bought 40lbs of crab and the one employee was angry that she had to ring us up..... like really??? But besides the unfriendly staff I do love Food Bazaar

Good product good prices, disrespectful cashiers for the most part, always cursing customers out and still keeps a job there, poor management, security guards watches you like a hawk, very good pharmacy and pharmacist, fresh provisions, just wish they stop hiring those disrespectful kids,who is always asking to see your debit/credit card to match receipts

My favorite place to shop. Things are easy to find. I like the international isle. I would advise anyone to look carefully at your food I have seen expired goods and molded Vegs and fruits multiple times there. The prices are good staff can sometimes seems like they dont want to be bothered. The guys in the fish market area always offer great services.

Love the vast variety of products that caters well to their Caribbean clientele. Prices are comfortable to large supermarket chains. My only issue is with the promotions because its very annoying to pick up an item, get to the register to find out that you only get the sale price if you spend over a certain amount. Read the cards very carefully.

Has a decent selection of most of our favorite ethnic food ( spanish, Jamaican, korean, etc), they could however improve on their seafood section ( great variety but not so great quality)....It seems as if they take the crabs that are close to dying/dead and cook, repackage and resell them as frozen steamed crabs

Great place to buy your groceries from. Their vegetables are usually fresh and their meats are always fresh. Good priced food. Only issue for me is the parking lot, their usually tons of people hanging out.
