The Montauk IGA is the only supermarket in town. Its cramped but relatively well-stocked -- but lines for check-out during the summer months can be brutal. Prices are, as you would expect for the tail end of the island, quite high. Senior citizen discount is 10% off the entire order every Wednesday! It doesnt even have that "home town feel" of a community store - store clerks arent particularly friendly or particularly inclined to care about your beach glow. But, it is usually well-stocked -- and that itself is a feat, if you realize how very very far out Montauk really is.

Not only is it the best supermarket in Montauk it is the only supermarket in Montauk. As such the prices are a little steep and the selection is a bit slight. The people are always nice and in the summer the baskets corn on the cob are always a wonderful sight.

Fairly well stocked supermarket in a holiday town. The lines to checkout are atrocious but that is expected in this location.

Better offerings and price than 7-11 on basic needs such as water. Steaks were not over priced and well stocked.
