The BEST coffee Ive ever had! Blows Starbucks away!! At first I just thought it was the one barrista, Erica...but they all do a great job! I usually get a decaf caramel latte, but Ive also tried other drinks as well (regular coffee, mocha, tea). Everything is great...and their muffins are wonderful, too. As a bonus, the atmosphere is much more down to earth and friendlier than at Starbucks..and every other coffee house for that matter! The girls who work there really seem to enjoy their job. Even if theyre faking it, most coffee houses dont even try, so theyre way ahead of them in that regard as well! The furniture is also very comfortable...and they even have a small alcove in the back with two couches and a coffee table thats nice place to sit for private conversations. I live in Merrick (four towns away) and come here as often as possible because it is worth the trip!

Large cups for reasonable prices with a nice interior. Won multiple awards for great coffee, but I personally dont agree. The lattes arent particularly nice, but are okay if you add a shot of syrup for 30c. There are a few baristas, and some are better than others. The queue moves slowly as the barista takes and makes your order, then takes your cash. This means instead of heating milk for five people in queue, theyre only doing it for one person. The place takes card with no minimum which is good. All coffee is served in disposable take away cups, regardless of whether youre dining in. There are nice comfortable couches and about two or three two seater tables. There is good, strong, free wifi and a couple of outlets if you need to hunker down to do some work. Its also about the only locally owned coffee shop in the area, so Ill keep going.

Ive been going here to do my writing and research for graduate school the past two years, and I can tell you: this place is like home. Friendly owners, everyone knows each other, familiar with the locals. Excellent music selection – not too loud, not too quiet – and comfortable seating, with a lounge in the back if you need privacy. The coffee selection is excellent, but they also have fancy lattes, italian sodas, and delicious teas and pastries. Cant go wrong with this place. Oh yes, theres wifi as well! Finally, Id like to give props to the artist who decorated the story and designed the menus. She sells her art (cards and other small items) in the store, if youre looking for home-made crafts. If youre looking for a high quality, down-to-earth coffee shop, this is the place. Check it out!

I go to this great coffee shop 3-5 times a month. The staff is invariably friendly and courteous which helps give this place a very happy vibe. The daily coffee options blow away Starbucks. There is also a wide variety of excellent bagged whole bean coffee from all over the world. The blueberry crumb muffin is awesome. Massapequa Perk is a great asset to the local community..

Stopped here passing through and I definitely chose the right place. Cappuccino was on point. Got a sunflower seed bagel that was Brooklyn grade and an iced lemon muffin that must be been just made. Highly recommend, Lucky it is next to the Massapequa Park station as I may have to catch a train just to go again

I love this place!!! There are more latte flavors than starbucks and you get more for your dollar here. And the staff are very friendly and they really take their time to offer you options on what to get. Ive never seen such happy people working at 6 am lol theyre awesome

Best place on long Island. Great coffee drinks, creative specialty menu that changes often, comfy chairs, and the staff makes you feel like your an old friend no matter if your a regular or its your first time.

Just bought a salted caramel ice latte was very sceptical at first but it was amazing I didnt have to search for the salted caramel flavor at all as I would normally have to do in DD best ice latte I ever had!

Ive been coming in to Massapequa Perk for years. Although the line may have grown, the service and atmosphere have remained consistently excellent. The location is also perfect for anyone catching the train.

The hell with Starbucks. This place has charm and the people there have personality. The beverages are primo A+. The pastry and baked goods fresh. The atmosphere is relaxed hipster chic.

Very nice people working there. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. The coffee is always good. The barista explains what kind of roast it is. The pastries are excellent as well.

Great staff! The Chai Latte is probably my favorite drink there. The muffins are some of the best Ive had, especially the Blueberry Banana Whole Grain muffins!

I live right near it and i think its snotty and over priced. Easier to go to dunkin donuts right across sunrise highway
