Id heard about this mall for a very long time. They do have every retail store you could think of, from low to high end---some of which I was shocked to see: American Apparel, Diesel, Betsy Johnson, the Walking Store. And either Im old or just out of the loop, but when did American Eagle have a lingerie store...which caters to YOUNG GIRLS? Competing with Victoria Secrets PINK, Im gathering. They have little carts around the mall selling odds and ends: cell phone/blackberry accessories, scarves/hats, avon, jewelry. Theres even those unnecessary and annoying people who try to stop you with "Can I ask you a question?" Okay, who did the business model and training on this one? No! You cannot ask me a question! If you have a question, ask the damn question!!! The mall is 3 floors, the bottom one I dont know how many people have seen or visit. Its the only mall Ive been to with a post office in it---open on SUNDAY!!! Theres also a police station, Sleepys, convenience store, Lenscrafters, dentists office, tailor, and styling school there. Not something you would necessarily need, but really good to know its there for when you do! The food court is the largest Ive ever seen---and Im from Jersey! I wouldnt quite call it a court exactly as its food booths side by side, and back to back. Have you ever seen Indian food at a mall food court? Ive not, but am glad its there! They also have a stand that is just healthy options. I was impressed. With Macys, Bloomingdales, JCPenney, and Nordstroms, youre pretty covered. I did think I was going to see a Neiman Marcus for all that Id heard. Handicapped accessible.

ROOSEVELT FIELD MALL: THE MALL I WENT TO WHEN I WAS A KID...WHEN IT WAS SAFE TO TAKE THE PUBLIC BUS AS A TWEEN FROM OCEANSIDE.......NOW LOOK AT WHERE WE ARE: How gross of ROOSEVELT FIELD Mall to take away the Holiday with their appalling new version of Christmas . It is Christmas and decorations like Santa, lights, trees of the holiday make many , many people joyous for this holiday.Kids and adults enjoy the scene: FESTIVITY....trees....lights....and so on......REMEMBER???? ...THE MALL OWNERS should be ashamed to have a representation of the Holidays as they do now. ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THOSE TREES???? It is enough. Christmas is Christmas, Hanukkah is Hanukkah....so people come on just wish each other THE APPROPRIATE Holiday wish . Stop this nonsense every three years or so OF HOW TO AND WHAT TO SAY (HAPPY HOLIDAYS WAS THE LAST puerile way of handling the Holidays.).....GROW UP!!! I live in xxxxxxx and will wait to see what they do down here this year with decorations. Typically, they put a beautiful Menorah for Hanukkah by Saks , Santa/Christmas by Nordstrom, a big tree is lit in the mall, and Neimans is festive with their decorations all over AND GUESS WHAT IT LOOKS FANTASTIC, shoppers shop, people take pictures and have FUN!!! Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah !!!! Happy Holidays... MALLOWNERs, coporations, stores, groups...get it together and wish the wish OF joyfulness for the season....stop ruining things. Your rendition of HOLIDAY DECORATIONS IN THE mall in NY is SHOCKING, DISTASTEFUL, AND INSULTING...... Whats next : no more saying "Thanksgiving"...it will be considered a blessing?

One of the best mall around judging by any standard. The location is prime because Garden City is an upscale town. The Roosevelt Field is now too deep in Long Island, so people from Queens can shop tgere. It is easily accessible via public transportation, since Roosevelt Field is a major bus terminal. A lot of businesses such as financial institutions, banks, clinic and hospitals are nearby, so, a lot of well off people shop there. The custodial staff does a good job keeping it very clean. The food court is great but right around the parking lots, you can go to some really great restaurant. As far as shopping is concerned, theres a variety for everyone taste and budget from luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci to stores like Macys, Bloomingdale, Nordstrom, and Neiman. Marcus. Since a few robbery incidents last year, theyve tighten security. Lastly, its big with nearly 300 stores.

Considering this is one of the biggest malls here in the North East it is one of my favorites. One of the largest parking areas I know. The new edition to the parking count is extremely helpful, less roaming around on different levels trying to figure out which place is best to park. The mall itself has one of the best eclectic collection of stores. The revamped food court is great! Multiple choices and different types of food. Even with the massive seating area it still gets crowded so keep a look out. This is one of the most popular malls so it does get crowded on the weekends. During the holidays this place will be packed. Sometimes there are so many people in the mall that you would not know it was getting cold outside. Variety is the spice of life and Roosevelt Field Mall provides that. It will take a while for you to walk the entirety. So wear some comfy shoes

This is a big, popular shopping destination. There are a variety of stores including the big ones like Macys, JCPenney, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and now Neiman Marcus. There are dozens of smaller stores with a huge assortment of merchandise. There is even a post office on the lower level and it is open on Sundays! The food court was renovated about a year or so ago and offers quite a variety of foods. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There are many restaurants ranging from informal to upscale and a newly renovated AMC Lowes movie theatre with those wonderfully comfy recliner seats. You can spend the day just window shopping and have a great time or look for the sales that are always going on and find that treasure you have been hunting for.

This mall offers a huge assortment of shops for furniture, clothing, accessories, housewares, sports, crafts, toys, food and even has a gym, post office and movie theater. The food court has a wide assortment of options including restaurants for health nuts. There isnt only fast food here. The outside of the mall is also surrounded by recommended sit down restaurants that may require upgraded attire and reservations. Traffic and parking at this mall can be a headache during holiday times but that can partially be remedied if you access the mall not from the main shopping mall entrance ramp off the Meadowbrook Parkway but via Stewart avenue or Zeckendorf Blvd.

As a kid I hated Roosevelt Field because its so big and my aunts or grandmother would drag me all around it! As an adult I still hate that its so big! Some of the shops seem pointless until you need that particular store! Overall theyve been doing some improvements, making it bigger I guess... This was annoying because I had on shoes and every so often the flooring would change to this extremely slippery tile from a rough concrete texture causing me to catch my balance. But overall Roosevelt Field is sure to have whatever you need. All the department stores live in Roosevelt Field! You can get lost if youve never been and be sure to remember where you park.

The service at Roosevelt Mall was TERRIFIC. The first time I have ever went their was when I needed cloths for a party I went to every cool store. I went to that Mall because i heard they had Hollister their Very popular cloths band. Many stores are expensive but you have to go their. I looked all over the mall and then I finally found the APPLE store. Then I went to go a iPhone. I had went in that store it was such a rush but i got out of there in 10 mins after buying my new iPhone 4s. It has a food court really hard to find a seat but the food court has awesome service was EPIC. I got my food just in TIME. You should really go to that mall
