The ophthalmologist Amy is nice and takes her time yet moves at a good pace. However the women working at the front desk are not friendly and are standoffish. Particularly the oldest one (brown short hair) shes rude and acted like I was a bother when I went in politely to make a appointment then when I showed up for the appointment. She talked to me rude and looked at me like I was a bother. Since I was polite the whole time regardless Im going to assume it was because of my race because theres no other reason and Ive seen her interact with others still not the best but not rude. Ive been in this store to buy contacts on about 4 occasions over 2 years so I know by now for sure the staff is always standoffish minus one that puts the tiniest effort to seem friendly. As for the man that sales the glasses Ive read the other reviews. I have seen him sell glasses and it is a bit eyebrow raising. IF YOU WANT GLASSES FROM YOUR INSURANCE DO NOT COME HERE out of all the glasses only like 10 pretty much of the same style are available for insurance pay vs when Ive gone to other eye doctors that had a whole section. That says a lot too. However I have payed for glasses before but would not from them based on the way they where represented to me by the women. Like Im good for money but not respect never going back.

Be careful with the store. The owner, Leon Shvartsman, is a dishonest man. My mother wanted to order progressive lenses there and he told her the insurance does not cover it and that she has to pay $350 in full. Thinking she does not have an option, she did. The same day we called the insurance and it turned out the store was simply not in the network. She called the next day and asked to cancel the order. The owner refused. She did a stop payment on her Citibank credit card charge and when the bank contacted him he sent them a letter completely falsifying the facts. He said that the lenses were made, that he called my mother and that she picked them up and never returned them. I was shocked to see he would risk his stores reputation to lie so blatantly just to get $350 for the order he never fulfilled because my mother was at his store on Friday afternoon and called to cancel it the very next morning. I am disgusted by his dishonesty.

My friends recommended me that place and I really had a very good experience. The selection of eye wear is one of the best in the area.The prices are acceptable, and customer service was great.They were very helpful and patient.The optician did a very good job with my glasses. I loved the way lenses came out. They also have a doctor on premises, which is pretty convenient, when you short on time. Eventually, my whole family ended up going there. Over all, nice place and I, definitely, will go back to this optical store.

Amazing place! Ive been wearing glasses forever and was really happy when i found VIP optical. Ive been a customer for over 8 years. The selection is great ( owner will order you anything you desire) service is exceptional, and very modern interior design. The quality of service i received when picking out my new gucci frames for a low price made me feel like a celebrity.. lol celebrity on a budget :))) Thank you guys!! You made my day and i look super fab in my new glasses.

Not the greatest place out there. They have a rather limited range of merchandise with somewhat high prices. The owner looks greased up with tons of gold chains on him. If you have any problems they avoid you and never apologize if they make a mistake. The whole atmosphere makes one uneasy and when you leave you cant help but to feel that youve been had. P.S.: The other glorifying review here by Mikita is probably the owner himself.

My wife an I have been bying glasses and frames from this place for quite a few years. They have an amazing European collection of all leading brands. The owner and the sales people are very easy to deal with and there are always ways to negotiate the price. Unlike many, they sell a quality stuff. Glasses bought years ago are still in use.

I would recommend that optical store, as they have beautiful selection of frames and very professional stuff. Doctor was great. They have most of designers brands. My glasses came out really nice. Visiting that place was a really good experience.Im definitely coming back.

Horrible horrible service!!!! Doctor was nice but the workers are very disrespectful. They wanted to make me pay for something what was there fault and then the woman knocks down the phone on me!! They give horrible service!!! Dont recommend it at all!!!!!
