I have never seen such a bad customer services at any eyeglass stores before. Their problems were not simply due to their poor understanding of English language. When my friend and I visited there, there were more workers there than customers. Unfortunately, they can not even understand the doctors prescription and instructions such as "duplicate eyeglasses" or "select the identical frame". The tall blond Russian woman there was especially rude. She treated other customers there with the same kind of rude, condescending, and disrespectful manners and nasty words. My friend and I were very upset and walked out from this very unprofessional and nasty eyeglass store. I would never recommend this nasty place for my friends.

Ive been a customer at this establishment for nearly 10 years. My whole family has received services and products from this place, and we have always been satisfied with the customer care and work quality. This spans the entire spectrum from eye exams to choosing frames/glasses to contact lenses. We have referred many friends and relatives to Ocean View Optical over the years, and all of our references have had positive experiences as well. I give this business five stars. And BTW, when choosing frames, they provide fashion advice, which I found to be highly competent and useful. Ocean View Optical is an A+ business in my experience.

my insurance company allows one pair of glasses every 3 years. They billed my insurance company saying that they made and delivered glasses for me when they never did, so i have to wait 6 years to get a new pair of glasses now. I told my insurance to file for fraud, and they will try to investigate. I was really mad, because the ONLY pair of glasses i had was old, it was starting to rust and turn green, i had to spend $300 for a new pair of glasses because my insurance couldnt cover it due to Ocean View Optical. NEVER going back. DO NOT GO HERE!! they mistreat you, and they are FRAUD!

If I can put -5 I will do it! Horrible service, personal is rude and right in you face let you know that you ruining their day and give them too much work! And that they are there do not serve or do a job but to have fun and discuss last episode of Russian soap opera! They overcharge you and blame that it is your mistake! Lady swipe my card 4!!!!! times and after tell me that I am a liar and my bank statement is fake!

The worst rude service in Brighton Beach without a doubt. Glasses came late no one called me. They do not accept any returns or exchanges. If the glasses dont work--forget about getting any help or money back!!! Stay away from that terrible place--THERE ARE MANY OTHER PLACES IN BB WHERE YOU CAN BE HELPED AND BE TREATED WELL!!!
