Recently I had the opportunity to have 12 beautiful women including my daughter from Greenpoint in Brooklyn, NY, and Florida visit my home in Tampa. These delightful women, as a lovely thank you went to see Lilly at Dandelion wine and send us a case of FABULOUS wines including a 2012 Domaie du JAS, Cotes Due Rhone, Cuvee Prestige, Had it last night and savored every drop. I am anxious to drink the rest of the bottles, but not too fast. Thank you Dandelion Wine for such a wonderful treat! See you next time I am in Greenpoint!

Simply put, Ive never been to a better wine store. And quite frankly, I doubt that one exists. Dont let the relatively modest size fool you--theyve chosen stock very well and I dont think theres a bad bottle anywhere on the shelves. Makes it much easier to want to try new stuff without fearing that itll be a clunker. A wonderful asset to the neighborhood.

Perfect sized wine shop, that offers a variety of European and local wines. 2 things I love about this place: 1) if you dont know what you want, no worries, someone is always there to give a lovely suggestion based on what the occasion is, etc!! and 2) free wine and cheese tastings every Thursday night! Bread is from Scratch bread in BK!! :)

Ive lived in Greenpoint for a few years and visit the shop fairly regularly. Im a big believer that you vote with your dollars and Ill take a mediocre selection with a smile over a decent selection with attitude any day. The female owner is never nice, warm or welcoming. Sorry, but you just lost a loyal customer.

Well, then it is not a place for you because THEY DO NOT SELL DANDELION WINE or any kind of fruit wine. Only grape wine, that is it. What an irony indeed.
