I love the store, but it saddens me to see the prices. I think sometime the people dont know, I see target brand selling for used higher than targets price when the item was new. I see people paying for fake bags, lots for old shoes, and I wonder why. I sometime wonder if there is a way the law could step in and put a cap the price, it almost looks like unique is openly ripping off the people. I do love that when I go I may find something great, but sometime when i do, all i can say is "you have got to be kidding me" when I see the price. It is clear they are competing with Ebay, but they fail to understand is that Ebays customer is millions and across the world. It is crazy to compete with ebay. Also on Ebay you can return the item, at unique you cant. I saw a used blender selling for $24.99 $5 more and its your new in Target, possible even cheaper online or walmart. I heard that the owners said, if they people will buy it at this price, why should we stop,and they are right people are buying it, I scratch my head at times when I see something like that blender in the basket. I so want to tell them to put it back and go to target

Pros: The Store is super neat and very organized.. You can pretty much find what your looking for. They also have great store hours and a great selection of merchandise from Clothes to jewelry to cosmetics.. They also have a dressing which is a plus at a thrift shop.. due to the no return policy There prices are decent.. They also have free parking... +++ Cons: They dont have much name brand designer clothing..,The clothes are pretty much crappy and I believe their prices can be better considering the Salvation Army has a Deal every day where this store only has %25 on Mondays.The staff isnt very kind nor do they help much, their prices are all over the place.. My opinion is your better off at the salvation army.. Better deals Especially on Wendesdays %50 off everything

See the Times article on Feb. 3, 2014 by Rachel L. Swarns, "Placed on Unpaid Leave, a Pregnant Employee Finds Hope in a New Law." Unique Thrift allegedly illegally suspended a pregnant employee who could not do heavy lifting, as certified by her doctor. The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act requires employers to make reasonable accommodations for pregnant workers and find other jobs for them to do as long as it doesnt cause undue hardship for the employer. I recommend that people should "suspend" going to this store until they give Ms. Fernandez back her job with back pay as specified by her union. BTW, this is another reason why workers needs a union.

Amo me encanta esta tienda encuentro muchas cositas & aprovechó siempre los días de descuento PERO últimamente eh notado un poco caro los precios mucho más q comprarlas nuevas siendo una tienda de segunda mano & con donaciones deben de prestar un poco más de atención a ese detalle fuera de eso me encanta

Me gusta mucho por qué puedo encontrar hasta lo que menos me imagino, pero también siento que exceden los precios. Hay cosas muy costosas, y creo k no es justo por el echo de que son cosas de segunda mano.

first of all let me say very unprofesional, well what can u expect its just a regular store. secoundly if u dont want the girls trying to flirt and having intercourse with ur man dnt go here and definetly dont let him work there.all the employes do is talk alot and not finish there job by the time they have to leave the store. the bosses are all jerks and like i said all people do is talk to each other.

The worst thrift store for now, TOO MANY COMPLAIN REGARDING THE PRICES OF ELECTRONIC SECTION.. EVERYTHING WAS ALMOST THESAME WITH NEW ONE. TOO RUDE BANGLADESH/indian GUY WHOs putting THE PRICE.. EXAMPLE: pair of speaker, BUT WITH DIFFERENT PRICE!!! SO INCOMPETENT AND STUPID...WISH I TOOK A PICTURE SO I COULD POST.. were a regular customer, but now?? Waste of time!!!

Managers and employees are very nasty and rude. They never try to help. Frequent customers are fighting over merchandise can be very aggressive. There is often arguing between customers in front of jewellery counter. If you find a nice piece dont leave it in your basket or other customers may steal it from you. Sale days are war zone dont even try to go.

I absolutely love this place. I come here very often with my mom. We find great items all the time; from vintage clothing to antique furniture. Prices are definitely cheap and are cheaper during their days of discounts. I always call before going to check if its a 50% or 25% off day. I love this place. Plus, lets not forget that they have a parking lot.

VERY unprofessional. Normally we dont ever have a bad experience here, its been a family favorite of ours for a while. The management publicly accused my mother of stealing the clothes she came in to the store wearing, wasted an hour of her time, didnt bother to verify on the CCTV, and did not apologize in the end. If I could give this 0 stars, I would.

People, People Is a Thrifts store. The idea here is keeping the price at a balance to control the volume of people coming in at the store. I understand why they up the price a bit. A lot of ghetto people was once flooding the store to create Chaos. If you dont like it go to Macys. Unique i love you and ignore the haters. Mondays %25 off discount.

Could be a lot better. They sometimes price things and make no sense. There was a brand new shirt that they priced $20 more than the tag from the store was tagged. Some things are cool, like $7 for a Banana Republic cashmere sweater. Security guard could be annoying, walks around with a gun. Lol..dont understand. Overall, the place is OK.

This is not a GoodWill Store, furthermore some one is getting very wealthy!! I really would like to know where all the profits from this sales are going. Clothing and other items are highly priced and the place is always packed with people that probably think they are getting great bargains when they are not!!!

One of the best thrift shops in the city, Unique offers an ever changing selection of your basic stuff: clothing, household goods, etc... at disgustingly low prices. You can also score some amazing vintage stuff at times. I really dig the deals. Be careful, half price days can get CRAZY.

Its overpriced but thst have some good items. I went in to get a mixer and they had four of them but not one of them head the attachments I thought that was kind of pointless. The workers are not very helpful, they dont seem to know the stotr or their inventory.
