Thank you Tommy and everyone I had the pleasure of meeting at Empire State Studios!!! I have looked and visited shops all over my home town and some beyond and this studio by far is my top tier shop. I walked up a narrow stairway into a brightly lit, colorful, and one awesome spaced studio filled with friendly artists with smiles and art that can be seen from any part of the studio. I talked to the studio manager Tiera the day before and she was more then helpful to answer any questions that popped into my brain. I also go to meet Tommy Helm himself and I couldnt stop geeking out! He is super friendly and was more then accommodating to shake my hand and give me a hug. If you want a tattoo and a new artist who is friendly and will make your experience just all around awesome weather its your first tattoo or not, this crew will not disappoint. Bobby was my first artist who got to add to my canvas, Thanks Bobby! I would and do plan on getting a piece done by everyone on their staff at some point in my life. Thanks again Empire and hope to see you again for more work.

About a year ago, I flew out to New York on the recommendation a friend to go see an artist at Empire Stat Studios. The atmosphere at the shop is super classy and all about the art culture that backs the tattoo industry. Tommy, Bobby, Kevin and Michele are all great folks who love what they do and you can really tell by how great their work is. I have recommended this shop to more friends who have made the pilgrimage since and have had a great time. Keep it up guys and Ill be back soon.

Awesome experience all around! JJ took my complicated idea and made it waaaaay better than I imagined. It was a true pleasure being under his needle. The crew there is wildly entertaining, great music, ridiculously clean shop, and a real fun experience. I cant wait to go back!
