UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONSISTENT! Beware! January 30: I walk into Eyestyles of Union asking if they can insert prescription lenses into my frames that I had bought online. They said yes they would gladly do it for $89. I agreed to have them do it. There was no problem at all inserting the lenses in. it was ready for pick up after an hour. Excellent! September 29: my lenses had some scratches on each side and very symmetrical. I asked them what it was exactly and they said they were deep scratches. They asked for my information and looked me up in their system and said, these are under warranty and will only cost you $25 to replace. But we will need those lenses to send in to the manufacturer. And we still have to order the lenses, so come back with those [glasses on your face] when we call you after they come in and well put them right in. I gave them $25 and expected a call after a week. They never called. Nov. 8: I walk into the eyestyles with my old pair of glasses that needed the replacement lenses and a new set of frames that are very identical. They look at the number on the arm of my frames and said that those werent the frames that they put the lenses in. I explained to them that I had to replace the arms because they broke. As you can see, the arms are fragile (and show them the broken arm on the current lens) They said okay we will do it on these [new frames] just this one time, no problem. They call back after I leave saying they need the old lenses and to bring it on Monday November 10 when I come to pick up the glasses. They call again that same night and say that they cant put lenses in those new frames. It didnt have a screw to put the lens in. I explained on the phone that it was the same exact frame. Tuesday nov 11: I drop off my old lenses at about 630pm and they said well see what they say tomorrow. Wednesday Nov 12: Girlfriend goes to pick up the glasses at 430pm and they tell her that those lenses were not under warranty. They return both glasses and refund $25. Insulted, I call them and ask questions about the warranty. They put me on hold for about five minutes only to be hung up on. I call again on my drive home from work at 540pm and explain the situation and again ask about the warranty and eventually ask to speak to a manager. she was busy. At 650pm the manager, Violet, calls me back and we talk about the issue again. She tells me that they cant give me the lenses for $25 but instead I would have to pay $89. She later explains that "the lenses were not under warranty and those lenses were actually supposed to be $149. They happened to have been on sale" OR SOMETHING" and you got them for $89," which voided the warranty. And I said, I was never told the lenses were on sale at the time of purchase. Nor does it state on the receipt that its on sale from $149. Therefore I paid full price. Which grants me the rights to that warranty of a replacement lens of $25. Tuesday Nov. 18: I walk into the store and ask about replacement lenses for lenses I purchased online. They said $89. After realizing who I was, they remained with their story that it was not under warranty and said the girl Monica whom you dealt with was reprimanded for her mistake. About not being able to put lenses in my frame, they said they can do it after all. For $89. But did I want to? With this much unprofessionalism, of course not.

I had a very unpleasant experience with them. I went in a few weeks ago for new glasses after two years. I had an eye exam and when the glasses came in, they did not seem right. However, I thought my eyes would adjust to them - they never did. I knew there was something wrong. Either the prescription was messed up or the frame was. I got my eyes checked again and turns out the prescription was okay but the frame was messed up. It had to be bent in a certain way for it to adjust to my eyes. One of the workers did that but he didnt do it right. So they had to send it back to the manufacturer who sent new glasses and even those werent right. I had to go in about 4 times and still no help. Some of the workers need training in customer service. My old glasses are better for my eyes than my new one ones. The worst part is that they would not give me a full refund but want to keep close to $100. I would not recommend this place. I had a very bad experience. I asked to speak to the owner multiple times but he would not speak to me. Totally unacceptable.

I visited this place twice in the past two weeks. Although they have a wide selection of frames , I wasnt greeted by anyone. I walked around for about 5 minutes each time. The girls were assisting the one guest that was there but did not say one word to me. The least they could of said theyll be right with me... but nothing. I wont be back. I spent $1,000 on two pairs of Cazals last summer at this establishment. I will take my money elsewhere. To a place where they have a little more time to provide a basic level of customer service.

Monique, really helped us out from picking out a stylish pair of eye wear to taking care of all the HMO forms. All we did was show up to pick out a pair of glasses. This establishment really brakes the perception of bad East Coast customer service. Thanx!
