Bad store, too expensive. Bad management. Fish and meet extremely not fresh. The people working at fish department guided me to buy bad crabs with dirty sick dots on it and keeps telling me those are good crabs. Those people are typical chinese businessman who plays every trick in business without benefit the customers and the community. I am chinese, so do not get mad at me my chinese brothers, because the store is truly sucks and money orientated. They are putting as much additives as they can in the food made by themselves. Do not shop in this store. Go there to buy the things only on sale there like laoganma which are packed and isolated from the store. Otherwise, go to local American stores or hmart, or chinese supermarket in Chinatown or flushing. They got much better food there.

All your standard asian food. I regularly visit here to stock up on the the standards.... rice, sauces, cheap ramen, and sometimes veggies. I had 4 stars for this place until I tested out the butcher one day with much hope, but was very grossed out. Reducing my stars to 2. The meat provided was clearly old and possibly stored at poor temperatures. I was sticky with a film on it and and had a funky smell to it. I find the chinese grocery stores dont uphold the same standards that we are used to in our standard american markets. Koreans and Japanese are great at this though, but thats not here.

Poor customer service. No courtesy or concern for the well-being of customers. Complaints to the manager resulted in no response. The supermarket did not turn on heat during the winter and no air conditioning during the summer. Refrigerators of frozen food need to be repaired, but no action was done. Vegetables have poor quality in terms of consistency. Occasionally, rotten or out-dated vegetables are "bounded" within a bundle along with more fresh vegetables. Most (not all) products are over-priced as compared to other ethnic supermarkets around North and Central New Jersey.

There are a few Asian supermarkets in Bergen County but this one is the closest to me. They have all the usual shelf-stable Asian grocery items and snacks, as well as fruits and vegetables, and a restaurant section. The restaurant section offers a box lunch of 3 Chinese-style portions and rice for $4.50. Ive seen the back area so I have doubts as to the cleanliness of the place. In fact, the Health Department downgraded their status to "Conditionally Satisfactory" for a period of time. Also, Ive encountered fungus on some food items that were perhaps not so fresh. Be careful.

One of very few choices in North Jersey for an authentic Chinese supermarket. I came here to get buns and char siu and found both for decent prices. The char siu wasnt the best Ive had, but I thought the pork buns were good. Looking around the aisles, it looks like you can get everything you need here - good selection of both fresh, frozen, and packaged goods. Just be aware, the lines for checkout get LONG on the weekends (to be expected).

Unlike central/south Jersey, this is one of the only Chinese markets in the area. You wont find the freshest vegetables here, so dont shop here expecting that. The meat and fish are actually pretty good. You will find all of the non-perishable and frozen items that you would expect at any other Chinese market, plus on the weekends they stock up on fresh Chinese bakery/deli items that are quite delicious.

theyr ok i guess, my mother gets food from there...my vegetarian tofu finatic friend loves it too if your making asian food or want to buy already cooked asian fast food, they have what you need and thats that... they have a small kitchen area that sells ready to eat delicatessens and other stuff the only problem i have...i hate meat and being around asian food...means seeing a lotta dead animals oh joy

Looks like it wont be in business too much longer. Shelves are bare and some essential are no longer available. I asked the cashier if the store was going out of business and she laughed and said as of today its still in business. Its a shame because this is the only Chinese supermarket in Bergen County and used to be very good. Now Ill need to drive to Parsippany for the nearest one.

Well it is great store but they switch the pork sung to HWA CHAO pork sung. Beware of this pork sung which contain bone or hard object inside. I am not able to contact manufacture where they make this dry pork. I will contact the store let them know.

Only Chinese supermarket in the NE New Jersey.. what else can I say.. They have mostly everything. The best thing is they have cooked food in the back, they are prepared to better than restaurant quality, and the buns are fresh and tasty.

Store is supposed to be open till 8:00PM. Went there at 7:40pm and its CLOSED. The manager inside rolled his eyes and turned back. Total waste of my time. So glad another big franchise from the west coast will open a new store soon.

The store appeared to be winding down for several weeks and it was closed when I went by today. Its a shame since it was the only large market in the area with a decent selection of food items for Chinese cooking.

Poor management. Ordered stuff, was told it will take over a month, no response later. When enquired several times, was told not available. They do not care.

Has been slowly improving in the last several years but if competitors open shop nearby the changes may come too late

They are going out of business soon. Nothing left on the shelves and all over priced. The vegetables are old.

Its small and narrow. Read expiration date before buying anything. More of a convenient store than supermarket.
