Good product but not in a good store. We got our closets done here and we absolutely love the closets. The problem is in dealing with this store. The people are not really rude or anything theyre just uninformed and disoriented. The manager seems to know her stuff pretty well, but I dont think shes done a good enough job to see that the rest of the staff in the store do the same. Heres a couple of examples I went back to return some components of my closet. The woman at the counter was counting them one by one and she picked up the jewelry box component and keyed it in as one thing. I remembered just by picking it up that it had two pieces to it and I told her theres another piece in there. So she took another look and then referred to her manual and acknowledged that she missed the inner part. Like I said, she wasnt rude at all, and she didnt argue at all, she just didnt know that a jewelry box was made of 4 parts and each one had its own value. Had I not intervened she would have overlooked $50 in return money. Then there was another case where she told me if components were cut they couldnt take them back. So I kept them back in the car and happened to talk to the store manager and brought this up and she said that as long they were bought in the last 4 months cut pieces could be returned. So I went to car and brought it back and a new woman at the registration counter again said cut pieces couldnt be returned. So we went back to the design counter and got another person from design who said again that they could and convinced the woman at the register to take them back. When she did key them in I got a receipt back for close to $60. All in all this lack of knowledge could have cost me $110 in what were plain and simple mistakes due to a lack of knowledge of the company policies and its products. I prefer the store in NYC where the staff has a better grasp of these things

Aside from Amazon, this is my favorite store! Very dangerous place for an organization junky like me. Everything from the super handy plastic bins and shoe / sweater containers--perfect for adult and playroom organization--to Elfa shelf and drawer systems that Ive placed in every single room, Container Store is a godsend. Very friendly staff, and the store has generous return/exchange policy. Every time I go to return/exchange something, I end up leaving with 3x more in purchases. 2 entrances and parking lots, front (Rt 17) and back (local road) by the post office. Click & Pickup service fantastic.

You can have some fun but its really pricey here. You can find clear acrylic make up organizers and drawers here that you randomly see at TJMaxx or Marshals. Some fabric storage benches. Closet systems, shoe organization (not for size 11 and up though in men and womens). Stainless steel items for the kicker and stackable Laundry baskets for $10 each which is very hard to find. Parking is odd so when driving to here slow down on the road or you will miss the enterance. Staff was nice. Store was clean.

Our Elfa closet designer was Donna A. She efficiently designed our closets and pantry, explaining the mechanism of the shelving system and teaching the strategy for installing the system in our home. Although the store offers home installation, because of Donna A, we were able to easily install our closets the next day. She explained each step and anticipated our questions. Elfa closet systems were made easy because of our in-store designer, Donna A.

Overpriced items that cost half on Amazon.the high end closet system is a joke. They want approximately $20,000 for custom closet thats not really custom because you get to pick between a couple of doors and a couple of door handles and a couple of colors. Thats not custom! Three-quarters of the closet is made from particle board and they finish off the closet with limited wooden doors and they want you to pay approximately $20,000

Never been to a store that sells containers exclusively. In my opinion...not a bad concept. I bought some stackable bins here to increase storage in a small room. The stuff in here is good to combine with the Ikea furniture concept, which is the be able to store the maximum amount of stuff in the smallest space possible. All in all, I see myself coming here again should I have to rework a storage solution in my house again.

Downsized from a pre-war apartment in Manhattan to a much smaller apartment in NJ. This would have big a major problem but thanks to The Container Store my problem is how to fill all the places they made for us. The design staff was GREAT. Listened to what I wanted and made it happen. The installation was quick and when they left there was not a speck of dust. Thanks Container Store

Do you need to contain something? This place has definitely got you covered. If you like to be organized or just declutter this place has everything that you may need to clean up your mess. Some things are a little overpriced for what they are but they do what they are supposed to do.

this place is bonkers expensive. trashcans are 50 bucks. there are a few deals in this joint though. if you have organization OCD.... STAY AWAY. this place will drain every penny u have. tiny boxes and organizers galore...jars and plastic dividers and trashcans ohh my!

Great patient staff, even during closing hour! You can find a lot of great containers made of various materials, colors and styles at various prices. This place is very popular especially during back to school time when everyone is looking for dorm room containers.

One of my FAVORITE stores. I could never work here or I would spend EVERY DIME I earned on all the cool organizer things they sell. The people here are so incredibly nice - no matter whats going on. Very impressive. I could LIVE in the TCS closets...

If you need some type of storage solution. This is the place to go. My house is so organized thanks to some of their products. Although they are a bit overpriced sometimes, make sure to check other sources to see if you can get it cheaper

The products are worth the cost especially because they help you design your space but Ive found that I prefer to install everything myself even though it takes a lot of time. They have a great return policy on unused parts as well.

I love the container store, but the layout here always confuses me despite the labels. The staff is always helpful, but sometimes even they are unsure where to look. It may be easier to shop online for in-store pickup.

As all container stores, this one is awesome and right on Rt17 which makes it very convenient. And you can grab a coffee at Starbucks next door beforehand to enjoy perusing all the wares with a cup in your hand.

Was there for an in store pickup and the lady at the register was great. The store looked clean and from the time that I spent there the staff looked very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back again.
